It’s one of our next features. We’re just handling it with care because we have some interesting plans for the future of the notes feature that will require a lot of planning ahead. Terribly sorry for the wait, but it won’t be too much longer.
Thanks so much! We’ll try to keep outdoing ourselves. It can get exhausting but messages like this keep us going.
Haha, thanks. Still, we have a very long way to go and some capable competition.
If I’m being candid, I’m very excited for the day VFrames matches the vision I have for it and I can start focusing more on keeping the videos/combos/data up-to-date and get back to practicing SFV
Ok so got some errors (form the guide book). Gief’s st.hp is -3 on block instead of -4. Nash’s F+hk is active for 5 frames instead of 4. Necalli has a 12f dash not 17f. I’m sure there’s more out there. But these are the ones I found atm.
I’m gonna be real, I cannot remember some move names (i.e. Karin’s anything) could you make a toggle for replacing move names with the inputs required for them?
The text editor itself is fairly basic, with only Bold and Italics available. There were no satisfactory third-party libraries to do the text editing on Android so I made it myself. Hopefully the same isn’t true for iOS! I suspect that over time, whenever I get bored of writing new features, I’ll add a new function to the text editor
We do have a partnership with Dantarion to build a Hitbox viewer. The technical challenge there is that we would have to dump new hitboxes after every patch, and we haven’t worked out automating that process yet. There are a few things we want to do first, but we should know more about that in the coming weeks. This is the type of project I really wish we had another developer for
Thank you for all the good work man, this is by far my favorite sfv app. Each update just gets better and better, but I do have a question. In the past, I never typed notes on apps like this due to the risk of my information getting lost.
Is there any risk of losing my notes if I update the app or if something gets corrupted? I would love to have the ability to have my notes be synced online to some kind of server like the Evernote app. I’d imagine if the framework for the app changes drastically (I’m not a developer so I don’t know), my app backup would no longer be compatible later down in the app’s lifespan?
Quick question- Sims slides, in app they’ve an extra message saying what they are on block at max range last active frame, only this doesnt match up to what it should be on paper, can i ask where you got this from?
example: C.LK says in the app: active for 6, -7 on block, -3 if last active frame. Now unless there is some programmed difference on the last frame, shouldn’t that be -1 on the last frame? It’s hard to test. ryu lp dp and chun c.lp whiff due to distance, Ken LP DP gets blocked at reversal timing which would seem to refute the -3 claim but i cant be sure the dp isn’t hitting late in it’s active frames due to the distance.
If there actually is a programmed difference, is it only the last frame? or are all frames minimum -3? Because if only the last frame has the -3 rule, then the second last frame would actually be -2 and the third last frame would be -3 again, which would obviously be pretty stupid…
