Inigma, might of been a local player, but some of the things he did were of epic proportion. i know you’ve heard of the daigo, wong parry right? Inigma was capable of that shit. Picture this.
I was playing him in 3s, I was using chun with SA1, he was using Akuma, he threw me…I had full meter, I thought to myself there is no way he can do anything against her SA1, it will push him back and I’ll get breathing room if he blocks…I was wrong. As soon as I performed the wakeup SA1 he started parrying it…all of it
The thing was while he was performing his parries, he did not concentrate on the game. While parrying, he stood up and looked at me, he said “Is that all you fucking got?” Two weeks later, using akuma, he beasted on cali pros like combofiend and edma in a tourney, While on his cell he parried gigaton blow against me in CvsS2, he also was the best alpha 3 player in the US. Even with all this skill, he was like 5th best in vegas GGXX, That’s how fucking stout Vegas GGXX was…

This is the way I see 3s after playing ppl at Macc’s house, GO, playing my (also new to fighting) 3s partner, and watching vids:

  1. pick a character you feel most comfortable with, learn their moves, stick with a super
  2. learn wut moves link/chain for combos and wut works best into a super
  3. learn to mix it up and not be predictable
  4. learn other characters so you know how to counter/parry-timings
  5. parry, parry, parry, parry, parry, parry

Wen I went to GO bout 2 weeks ago or so, I think I only had 1 down. After watching ppl play and enough vids, (since Ken isn’t rly complicated), I got down 2 and 3. I think 4 and 5 is all I need to work on, and of course, it’s the hardest aspect to get good at in the game.

i looked up differences on gamefaqs, but it doesn’t rly help since HSF2 has barely any moves to begin with.

I just had to remind myself how much i hate SF2 by going back n playin HSF2 for an hour. so ridiculous because it’s so simple, the entire gaem ends up coming down to frames since there’s so little to animate. I can have about 1 3rd of my health taeken out from liek a few blocked hadoukens. pretty silly bs. this gaem makes me raeg so hard. lol.

I got a p360…I learned how to play on a stick at gameland, Mickey had all p360’s on the main games, so that is what I bought with my first two mas sticks. I might can handle a competition with the extra heavy duty spring, but I’ve never felt one. LOL I know the sticks in your cab are good, but I still scrub some commands on them :frowning:
