Anyway, call me a SF scrub (which would be a fairly accurate characterization), but doesn’t Gief counter Balrog quite easily? I’ve probably played against seven or eight different Balrogs on Live with Gief, and only lost once. Double lariat stops most incoming punches, and 360 + P or K owns in close quarters.

Sup guys. I play some GG, but I don’t get to play with a lot of people, no real competition. I was wondering if you guys hold any kind of get-togethers or tournaments to play some GG, 'cause I’ll gladly join. I love out in the Southwest side of town, in Spring Valley.
Also, my friend opened up a new LAN center on Ft. Apache and Tropicana. It’s not up yet, but he’ll host tournaments there for leagues and stuff. I’ll ask if he’ll have SFIV tournaments or other games, so you guys can get more competition with other people. Although, I doubt there’ll be any competition, mainly because there aren’t really good players on the Southwest side of town hah hah.
