Being gay is what I’m about, st is boring to watch and play . It’s not that I’m mad at it. There’s just better games to be played. And if were keeping on track with evo we should just play GGAC then. And yes it’s true people will join st cause it’s pretty scrubby. I can think of a lot of people besides me who don’t like it.

sagat is the most prominent player in sf4 and i dont see anyone saying anything about him… fieball into kick … fireball into kick and you win… but all i hear is balrog blah blah if hes so easy then use him… what the big deal?
I was also under the impression that the side tourneys were for practicing for Evo since 3s was following the 2v2 rules. Even though CvS2 would be fun to see, it doesn’t serve much purpose. My vote goes to HDR or despite not even playing it, Accent Core.
I agree with Bernie, HDR will bring in the players.
As for the side events. When Wes ran the 3s team tourney, it started before the Sf4 tourney, and finished after the Sf4 tourney.

i say the vote should be between 3s and ggac then. since 3s sounded like it had a decent turnout, i dont see what the problem is with running it again.

As for side tourny, I feel “Evo prep” should be what we’re doing. So MvC2, 3s, GGAC, all that shit. And like it or not, HDR will probably have one of the bigger turn outs at Evo.

Well, I hope to be seeing both of you guys(even though it will be tough to figure out who’s who due to lack of photos) when my school goes spring break. Hmmm, last time I was at Treasure Island, I never did find the arcade. God, I at least wish the Santa Fe had a fighting game.
There used to be HELLA arcades when I was a kid here, now they are all gone. Even most of the casino’s got rid of their arcades wtf?

Way too much to go into that, but if u look at the last major. FR12, they said almost EVERY SINGLE MATCH had a balrog in it. And there was like 5 sagats. I feel a lot more comfortable with rog then I do with sagat. I don’t want to get into this argument cause it’s long.
But I’m going to say it, I think it’s easier to scrub out wins with rog then it is with sagat. Not saying Rog is better (even though I do think so) but with sagat u still need very strong fundamentals of the game, like spacing etc. With rog you can mash his c.jab throw in random head butts etc. U don’t get punished for throwing c.jab or just sitting there and mashing on it. If I sit there and spam tiger shots like a moron, it’s very punishable. I PLAY BOTH CHARACTERS!!!
No offense to you carnehas, but I’ll give u 30 dollars if u can place top 3 again with sagat. Everyone is going to defend who they use, it’s what people do.
