Went Online and did some trolling today.
Damn Serpentaurus, I’m definitely stealing that barcelona without quickdive in the corner setup, it’s looking brutal there.
Can u explain that bare fba setup u did?
Hello Claw brothers !
I want to share you that very intense First to 10 I dit against that really good Nash with the best pressure I ever met.
I hope you’ll enjoy watching this as much as I did playing it! ;D
Feel free to comment if you have any suggestions.
(sorry for the poor video quality, I don’t understand why my export is like that.)

NEMO and co win a 3 vs 3 offline tournament…Nemo nearly beats the other team alone but runs into Momochi’s wake up super…great performance other than that…at around the 3 h 34 mins mark
In Myakyo’s video at around the 34:45 mark he drops Nash and inmediately does st HK…Nash player blocks but HE IS CROUCHING…how did this happened?..shouldn’t the st HK just wiff?
Pretty sure that’s just fuzzy guard, I get it sometimes too. If someone’s standing and not pressing a normal, the first frame of their hitbox is still counted as standing on wakeup. (It’s how we Vegas get those instant overheads on all dudes like birdie and bison.) So he was counted as standing for the frame, but the animation corrected him to crouching I think.
Thanks…i have heard about fuzzy guard before but never reallly got it…that explains it
A few little sets against various characters at gold level. See something new you like? See something awful I’m getting away with, or they are? Feel free to let me know.

For rashid I’m certain u can punish blocked eagle spike better. Try dash into a medium
Also spinning mixer lp is never advantageous. His pressure ends there. I’d actually mash st lk or at least be ready to st lk if he stops it early. If he lets it go it’s even more punishable. He’s getting away with throws and buttons after fo free and he shouldn’t.
I also tend to avoid all the cr hp xx ex whirlwind shot stuff altogether with v reversal. He was doing a pretty basic mixup with it but u can avoid the more complicated setups altogether with v reversal
For ryu I struggle the same way. U can tell in second round he was catching your walk back in between his st mp block string with cr hk. That matchup I think is all about spacing for your anti airs and poking ryu a lot
Two things, st mp st mp is a 4 frame gap so u can sneak a st lk in between it to win cleanly
And as u know if u block his sweep u can get full st hp punish
It is kinda easy to perform, first you must confirm if there was a fast wakeup done by the opponent, if there is wakeup you proceed with regular mixup because vega can do a meaty L.MK. If you see delayed wakeup go for barcelona attack LK version inmediately after your eyes confirm. You can even go for vega command grab if you want to and it is meaty but since this guy was falling for the mixup i didnt stop doing it.
Some good vids. I usually try to watch some to see what others are doing and improve my gameplay. Here are some fights of mine.
This was after a long day and had a few drinks in me. LOL.

Before I get hung, I am the minority at work and mostly everyone is a PC player and I am a console peasant. So it does bring me glee to beat up PC players.

I threw some rage quit vids up in the thread for it. Some are lengthy since it was the 3rd match sometimes and I would be quit on.
So I am trying to do some Vega gameplay and tips for newbs esentially. LOL. Since vet players will wipe the floor with me. Anywho, I show some fight vids as well as banter a bit.
I’ve recently won a free ride to MFA, which is going to be a part of Capcom Cup as far as I know, and I’ve also beaten the hardest matchup for me which is Bison. So here is the video explaining how did that happen, and also sharing some of my new thoughts on Vega.

some random replays from the other day, I’m aware that I have an issue getting a little TOO happy with the offense sometimes. totally dropped the ball in that m bison match because of that. :u

Nice. I saw your vid before along with your other Vega vid and commented on the one about Gief. Ill for sure be trying more anti air ASE.
I posted this in another thread, but Mika is the death of me.

claw j hp has a more downward hitbox than the hand version. Often you can beat anti airs when spacing the jump in correctly.
My playstyle is that claw is for neutral when you are playing a character than can’t get in easily. You build meter and harass and frustrate your opponent. And swap to hand when you can threaten with ex fba and ex cmd grab.
I start with claw build a bar and eventually switch to hand to get cmd grabs and do damage, and then eventually back to claw to finish the round off with, often with an st mp or cr mp xx vtrigger whiff punish also vskill or f hp xx vtrigger.
I want to tax my opponents thought process by alternating between claw and hand relatively often. I want them to be forced to pay attention to my stance and alter their gameplan.
