I think it’s correct, i’ve set myself up in training mode to do c.mk to see how far the hitbox extends and it doesnt hit at the tip
sometimes it appears to hit at the tip is most probably because your opponent’s hitbox may be extended…
looking at vega’s hitbox stuff i really try and think wtf is going on with the capcom’s devs thinking
especially when you look at this jab hitbox comparison of a few of the characters
Figure out their pattern, i’ve been dabbling a little bit with seth the last month or so and i find my biggest weakpoint playing as seth is that i’m always doing the same sequence of things and my friends i regularly play with have figured it out.
and of course learn to block and dont’ get too frustrated. be glad his combos don’t do that much damage, it’s probably really just more annoying that they take so long to finish and a couple of them and you’re stunned… gotta develop the mental resolute to not let that get to you

Ha, or they could just give ST 1 frame of invincibility and let you ex cancel it into an ultra. ORRRR let us just straight up combo into U1 from anything that you can combo into EX FBA

His match ups for the most part have gotten better. But Claw was completely without a 6-4 in his favor in vanilla. Is that still the case?
I was wondering if maybe Makoto is 6-4. Claw can poke the shit out of her and run away better than most. Anyone else want to venture to say we have favorable matchups?

I main Vega…And from what im told i have a very dirty Vega… My fav. setup with him is df.Hk C.LP C.MK to a grab…It usely works … but I also will do the combo and right after the grab I will do the DF.Hk to go over them and the will stand after you land and you usly can hit the C.LP into the Heavy ST…
But i have a question now that Vega’s 1st ultra pops them up Can it combo from the C.MP???
Nope, you cant cancel normals into Ultras (aside from Gouki’s Ultra1)
after a corpse hoop you can nj.HK to bait something stupid and combo to Ultra. dont try to do this on characters like Guile coz theyll just Reversal you for free.

Is Scarlet Terror a AA special? It just doesn’t seem to have the start-up invincibility (judging from when I perform ST on wake-up, I get beat out by normals) like other AA specials do.
Do you have to use it very early to be an effective AA?
None of the ST versions (including EX) have invincibility. All of Vega’s AA options are situational, but switching between them depending on the situation is possible:
for close jump ins:
nj.HK
air-throw
jump back MP/MK
s.lp (only useful against Gen and Rufus)
lk ST (very unreliable)
Ultra2
Focus
for far jump ins:
s.HK
c.HP
Hk or EX ST
EX FBA
df.HK (very unreliable)
Ultra1
only time your opponent should jump in on you for free in on wake up.
