You can go for Heavy Scarlet Terror, it does beautiful damage IMO. If you’re near a corner, you can EX FBA to Izuna to set up for vortex. You can also do resets such as st.LK to setup for kara throw I believe, there’s also cr.MP but that’s more spacing I find.
Some would recommend EX Scarlet terror, but I find H.ST does plenty of damage and you can use your meter for your EX FBAs.

Usually, I throw/overhead/n.j mk/backdash.
Overhead is slow, you’ll get punched in the face. your safer option is a throw. If it’s vs a shoto, a NJ will get you DP-ed.
People will commonly block high vs CH, so Overhead isn’t usually an option.
I never NJ against anyone with a good anti air ftr. Overhead hits or body hops when your opponent mashes out cr.lp/cr.lk , which is a common occurence. Mostly I throw, but I was just giving him some different options to try out.
yeah that the tough part if opp block CH. sometiem i did walkback or dashback i get smash or throw . maybe depends on the distance i CH in.

It’s a reset, so it works pretty much similar manner to crMP.
I think the 50% is down to a couple of variables in execution.

Hmm, nj’ing is not that bad after blocked CH. Most Ryu’s will 70|30 going to block it because Vega’s neutral jump is too fast to properly react to. Just don’t use it too much though.
EDIT: Chuck is right about the overhead by the way.
You do not want to NJ against a masher with ultra stock but most likely ryu will not DP i think back dash is better to reset the situation
About 90% of the time I forget about it’s existence tbh. It just never felt very safe to me. I should probably start using it. Only time I ever remember it’s there is if I’ve cornered a crouching opponent, even then that often ends up with me using a throw instead.
Milf, i thought we where talking about high level strats you know. where mashing DP at every interval was not so common.
i swear every time i hear oh no mix ups are bad because of mashers, or a match up is based on bait and punish makes me cringe because we are spreading horrible information.
