Legit felt like this online today. Has someone won a tournament with Blanka lately or have I just put vanilla back in my console?
All I’ve fought online the past few days is ragequitting, rage-mailing Blanka players.
Hey guys, I’m back obviously. Can’t believe I was going to quit street fighter. In fairness, Revelations was really shitty experience and turned me off hard with regard to SF. But I am so ready to be back. There are some cool surprises in store for you guys. You will definitely see me at more tournaments.
I’ll be working with my teammate CCG Air to start uploading a lot of matches, possibly with commentary - as most of you guys probably know, I’m still in school though I finish in two weeks. Once I’m done I’ll be focusing a lot of my energy on creating SF content and getting my name out there.
With that said, please do me a huge solid and follow me on Twitter and Facebook. I need to get my fanbase to get bigger so I can go to more tournaments! I want to play Claw at the highest level and re-solidify myself as the world’s best Vega. I’m incredibly motivated now. Maybe the huge break was what I needed to realize what SF contributes to my life, because I’ll be the first to admit that the last few months for me have been pretty odd… I’m a drummer too and I’ve practiced a lot of drums but there is that adrenaline that high-level SF brings to my life that I miss playing drums.
So yeah. Check it.

Also I don’t know if you guys saw my tweet, but uh, I heard from a certain someone that Vega is going to be sick in SF4 2013. At least, the beta test… He will have not only an invincible EX DP but an ultra 2 that hits empty jumping opponents. So yeah maybe we will finally play a top tier Vega. In that case maybe I’ll actually win one of these nail biter matches and not lose again. I’d like nothing better than to win a major with Vega.

Just returned from a Paris tournament with alot of the european top present.
Solo tournament i got top16, it was single elimination tournament, so kind of rough haha.
Got beat by a great chun player, whiffed some stuff on her crouching hitbox, forget about that at critical times.
He also made some great reads.
In the 2v2 i ended up teaming with LLL.Momi and got first place!

Unfortunatly none of my solo matches were streamed, wich were better than my team matches.
3 of our teammatches got streamed, where i played in 2, against Hawk, Honda and Rufus.
Ill put them up in the video section.
I haven’t seen every Vega player ever, but does it seem that western Claw players are better than the ones in Japan? I know they have solid people like Makoto but they don’t seem to be on the same level as Jozhear, Zeus, and Tatsu.
There are just not many left. If you look at the japanese Arcade rankings for claw, not many are still playing esp. the second best claw in japan (imo): cat-k@ arai. The ones who are still active, namely reiketsu and tsupaby (aka brokkenG) are absolutely on a level if not above the western claws.
Especially tsupaby has a beautifull unique play style, wich, while entertaining to watch, may stop him from turning close matches in his favor. Nevertheless, very entertaining to watch
