So, predictions for Omega Vega? Since new moves seem to be created from existing animations, could we see Scarlet Mirage from SFA3? Maybe Red Impact too? Although we don’t have Red Impact’s finishing stab as an animation in USFIV, maybe they’ll replace that with a cr.HP instead? Fellow Vega users, what would you be more hype about?

Agreed. If it’s not tournament standard then you are wasting time since you won’t be playing the game everyone else is playing.
However, a nice experiment would be to see how Vega fares as a motion character rather than charge. I really think he’d be a lot better not having to charge to do stuff.

Anybody else think EX sky high claw might actually be useful as a motion move? Also I’m half-expecting the roll travel to be quicker and for punches [with claw on] to do chip. Anything else we can expect to actually happen?
I am far more exited for the fix for the constant in-game pinging that leads to the freezes in the PC version.
Other than that: A SF4 rainbow edition now and they haven’t even released the promised trials or fixed the hundreds of discovered bugs due to the balance adjustments made by laymen?

I wanna have “A Hundred Face Cuts” move where he very quickly repeats c.st hp and slicing the opponent’s face while yeooooowing. Will do its ex ver. on Ryu dummy for starters. And I want far st.hp to cause crumple.

So we got counterhit frame adv back on our rolls. That seems to be it. Little disappointing but It’s not like anybody else got too much either.
Yeah no mention of the U1 after wall hitbox/juggle alteration - so I guess it was an intentional Nerf after all.
At least no more known bugs afaik (the Super Meter building being wrong on some moves on block aside - maybe they fixed that without mention - wouldn’t be a big deal if they didn’t anyway)

Claw is better in USF4 1.04 than in the console release version, that’s for sure. Can’t complain. Counter hit RCF confirm is pretty neat, nothing game changing, of course. But damn it, it’s a bunch of dmg.
Yun nerf make it so ST/grab are at least an options after EX LP. ERyu is easier and Poison is a little bit easier to deal with. Ibuki with that bullshit stHP > HP whiff cancel into Tsumuji gone is also really good.
So the old metagame got hit a little bit while Claw got a helpful-ish fix. Bring it on.
