I didn’t even watched a single match of the world cup, I don’t care about footbal. An in all, that result is pretty good for the contry to be honest, elections are really close and if Brazil won the WC some pigs would take advantage of it to get more votes.

Yeah Zeus and Smug are going, they managed to get the donation money from their stream, so should be excellent stuff to watch. I heard Emersion is going and that he has to face off against Daigo or someone like that. I mean, that’s a sad way to start.
At least E.Ryu-Vega isn’t that bad, in my opinion at least. So he might have a shot at slaying the beast with his mighty claw.
That MU is much better than Ryu. That axe kick is damn unsafe and his dive kick is easily AAed by cr.hp. (See PRBalrog-Chris King match)
Btw, if anyone knows the results of Vega players outside of the steam, share please.

So is Daigo, Infiltration, Justin Wong, Kazunoko, PRBalrog, Arturo, Mago, Alioune, Latif, Xian and everyone. This is the strangest and most hype EVO ever!
I just hope Luffy wins now. Seeing he eliminated MAgo, I think he has the chance.
Another EVO with no Vega in the finals though, which is a heartbreak I got used to really. But didn’t expect Zeus to lose to two random players.

Vega though I think is a really strong character.
Obviously the shortage of top level material vega players plus those that were unable to attend for a/b/c reasons are factors but that is also true for other characters.
The fact is that vega in his admittedly strongest version didn’t even manage to have a single top 64 placing.
Emersion got starstruck. He was simply about to faint because he was fighting Daigo. He started the match already lost. I’m sure he, and many people, are capable of defeating Daigo’s E.Ryu. John Choi, who couldn’t even pull the most basic Ryu combos, couldn’t even dp fadc into ultra, showed that by taking 4 straight rounds.
Even though daigo’s evil ryu is still far from being perfectly polished his performance at evo was a shadow of himself. He is not ranked 1 in the japanese arcades by chance and everyone has watched videos of his evil ryu playing at a very high level.
In the two games I watched (vs emersion and john choi) his execution was extremely sub par and he even let his opponents jump for free the few times they attempted it.
In the john choi match, I can’t remember having ever seen daigo being so badly outfootsied and that has little to do with evil ryu.
