It a quiet comman problem to most of the people…forgot that and edit game.ini for stage changing.
You might be using a outdated ver of LunaPort, most people in IRC use the latest release of LunaPort.

This is not Frank Miller’s “Dark Knight” but the real world!
Anyone else have this problem?
I start the gameup and it clears past the enterbrain logo, registers me pressing the buttons, but then won’t let me actually start a game. Then, if I actually start a game my character is completely stuck in the downback position. Hella weird.
HOW TO FIX IT?
I had the same problem. at first the controls worked fine. but then some kind of way stopped working. You can use xpadder to fix that issue. Now it works fine. My character would not stop jumping. Hopefully that is the same problem Chibi
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Try unplugging/replugging your stick, or reinstalling its drivers? I can’t think of anything that would cause that. Does it persist across PC restarts?
Yeah it happened last night and now it’s happening again after restarting.
It’s definitely the game because I have no problems playing MBAC / Akatsuki or anything else with the stick.
Also Xpadder did not solve this problem, how does it solve it exactly?
What stick is it? Newer FM2nd games tend to have some weird register problems if you have something like a flight slider or switchable formats.
So I’m just using a 360 controller.
wtf chibi i thought you already have this game for a while now
anyways check game options and make it so your on keyboard/gampad tick box is not ticked
xpadder is like joy2key, all it does is map joystick buttons to keyboard buttons.
and lol @ bein neg repped. WELCOME TO SRK NEWFAG
I got a new ps3 stick in yesterday and plugged it, and it was actually fine last night, but now this morning it’s bonkers. It won’t register my old ps3 stick normally either.
I can’t access game options either, running applelocale.
That happens to me since day 1, with or without applocale.
Did you try running the game via changing your unicode settings to Japanese instead of running with applocale? Or have you done that beforehand?
I just use applocale on a friend’s PC, i always have Japanese on my non-unicode support… but the result is the same.
i got this game today, but i can map the directions with my madcatz SE, whats going on here?
The directions should already be set. Unless you cant move with your madcats then either you didnt check off the joypad part in options or theres an issue with the game itself
POV Hat Switches don’t work with VP. It’s the same with Akatsuki without Caster. You need to use Xpadder or a PS2 Stick with an USB adapter.
Is there a soundtrack rip for this game?
see below
Thanks.
Can someone help the noob here a bit?
I dont know how to work with LunaPort. I read the usage on the read me file but it wasnt completly clear. I extracted all the LunaPort files on the gamefolder and then what? do i have to run both LunaPort and VP? or just LunaPort and as soon as someone connects it launches the game? how exactly do i connect to an especific player? like my friend and i for example.
This is how my VP folder looks like right now
