I forgot to go into administrative settings and change it to japanese. I only changed the language to japanese the first time.
Thanks, I made the same mistake, it’s slightly different for Vista than XP, here it goes in case anyone else needs it:
XP
Control Panel–>Regional and language Options–>Advanced tab–> then under language for non-unicode programs, change the drop down to japanese.
Vista
Control Panel–>Regional and language Options–>Administrative tab–> click “change system locale…”, change the drop down to japanese.
Now I’m stuck with stick configuration, I can’t get it to recognize my TE stick
So yeah…

I think different characters have different dizzy ratings. The first half of the combo in the 3rd link can’t really be done on Yui. That combo is also abit easier on Kaede herself.
I’ve followed the instructions, I just cannot seem to enter training mode.
It seems that for training mode you need to be in versus mode then press whatever you’ve assigned as player-two’s F button then player-one’s F button.
It’s just that P and E are the defaults.
I had this problem at first because I’d assigned them to different things without realising.
For the people who can’t get it working, try changing the “???” name of the folder, exe and kgt into something written in Western characters. I renamed them all to vanpri and it works now.
Edit: nevermind, false alarm. Changing the system to Japanese seems to be the only solution so far.
Wrong.
More like people aren’t thinking outside the box because there are almost no chains and no 2 in 1s.
Your assists are basically a part of you, if you think of them as assist characters you’re not going to get anything in this game.
For Kurumi (“useless” one move joke character whose normals are all retardedly fast)
Target combo 5A/6A 5B 2C (she has one, which makes her automatically better than most of them in that department)
60% corner: jC 5b 6b + 6d (yayoi assist) 623c 5c 2D jC dizzies jC 5a 5b 214BC
(stolen from someazndude :looney:)
These are just examples, as you can see people like Kaede (kXOT3Rc6-oc"]Hal’s loop) and Eri () who have a semblance of normal fighting game chains/cancels have pretty long extended loops, but that doesn’t mean much when Yui can spit out 80% with one assist and no dizzies (jC 2B 2D 6B 421B 2C 236BC, again stolen from someazndude )
Nice one! Just did that and changed my settings back to UK to check it works and it really does!:lovin: (edit, no wait it just crashes after the first few titles saying someting about “demo”, tried renaming all the files and it didn’t work, off to change config again lol)
(Heh, between this and IaMP I’m starting to suspect the english language settings just don’t like stuff with Kanji in them.
Awesome, gonna try that when I get home later.
I’m gonna give one-move-girl a chance first, seems fun.
redundant question… online play?
Not unless somebody caster-izes it.
Fighter Maker doesn’t support online for the twenty or so I played.
Wouldn’t mind the game being less compact screen-wise and the jumping is a bit floaty.
(I didn’t know you can jump over the BEAAAAAAAAMU until I tried playing on keyboard and messed up a super)
This has a load of potential (granted it gets its own engine) over My Kind Visitor, E’s Otherwise, and a big majority of FM2nd games though.
A shame, really.
But yeah, good stuff on the vids, fellas.
LOLI
Bustahhhhhhh
Well had a bit of a go with it, haven’t picked a mian yet since I’m not sure what all their commands are yet, but I know it’s not going to be the one with the guns:sweat:. (I’m using the family pc lol)
Like the assist thing though, torn between the gun loli and the magic loli since both seem pretty fun.
Anybody know who is the hardest to stun? Rather work on stun combos on that character than just the first green haired girl.
This game is pretty fun surprisingly. Here’s some Lilith knockdown shenanigans I found with Eko shoto assist. (Eko is probably the best assist to use with Lilith)
Any elbow drop (421A/B/C) > 6B knockdown > 5D (heart fireball) > 63214A crossup > (heart fireball hits meaty) hit confirm to 2C > 2D (shoryu) > 623C anti air stunner. If fireball gets blocked you can tick 360.
Off of 623C anti air stunner you can set up 3D Eko dive kick launcher as a meaty.
deep jB > 2C > 2D shoryu > 623C knockdown (most likely dizzies, just start the combo over again) > delay 3D > 63214a or 421b (crosses up on their wakeup) > Eko should launch the opponent on hit, end with 623C knockdown right back into the setup. Using 63214A depending on the timing you can land on either side of the opponent but its strict.
2B > 6D (back kick) > 421A > 6B or 623C > mixup (2B > 6D has to be done relatively quick, almost to the point of drumming to connect properly)
That’s pretty much all that I’ve found with Lilith, anyone else care to add to this?
(EDIT: Also 623C ender gives you perfect spacing to do ambiguous jB crossup)
I don’t really get how the Stun system even works. Sometimes I can Dizzy someone 3 times in a row with the same combo, sometimes I can’t. This is frustrating.
What’s “wrong” with this picture? http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/6109/oops.png
This guy really, really, really needs a team of programmers and he could pump a decent doozin game. Despite the uninspired designs, he’s got the art, the animations, and even some surprisingly creative gameplay. As of now, it’s a fun tech demo.
This ain’t decent already? I mean “satisfactory” decent, not arcade worthy.
Also dohohoho, I-No has been beaten in skin per frame amount.
