Every time I see this thread updated, I click to see if Prime has come out… only to be disappointed.
This is how I feel everytime I see a message only to see it’s a new person asking the same question asked in 1-2 pages back.
If you’re talking about old shit from the early version of the game, it needed nerfing because it was a horribly broken game. The newer patches haven’t nerfed anything real seriously other than super damage, which I agree was kind of unneeded. Some characters got gigantic buffs (Natalia, Ayane).
Also don’t see how Eri is dumbed down at all, her combos got harder to do and otherwise hasn’t changed much in a long time.
As far as tiers go, Haruka/Kurumi are a little weak and Yui/Ayane are all really strong. There’s not that big of a spread though, but there are some pretty rough matchups here and there.
I was looking around the net for newer fighting games on PC and I stumbled upon this.
The thread is quite big, so could someone just give me a summary - is this game worth my time or should I search for something else/stick with SF4 until MK Arcade Kollection/SSF4:AE comes out?

…it’s free, it’ll run on any modern netbook, and it’s really good, so yes, it’s worth it. Just remember to download the latest Westernized version from this thread - right here (thanks Saikyou).
Just remember that it plays very differently from most other fighters, in that good use of your assists are essential for combos.
Oh, and you might have noticed that the animé girl syndrome is strong in this one, so your mileage may vary according to taste.

Good lord, maybe I’m just not good at the game yet, but how do you deal with Luna’s gun’s. It’ like whenever she has ammo, don’t move or get shot into a 20% combo.
