Haha dont worry pal!
Yeah, that’s the only way the game will work. =/ It gave me the same issue you’re having now, but I had to go into Regional and Language Settings -> Administrative -> Change the Unicode language to Japanese.
I still can’t believe this is a one-man effort. Game is really, really darn gorgeous and the characters aren’t half bad, gameplay wise - I’m liking Luna and Lilith so far.
Ouch looks like I’m missing out on this one then lol, have enough trouble with the pc as it is without buggering around with language settings.
Never mind just means more time for IaMP and Blazblue when it arrives.
It just changes the unicode to Japanese, is all. Everything else like the regional settings, text languages and what not remain the same. Nothing too serious.
Yea this one is pretty solid for a one man job. Seriously. He did one hell of job. There are games that come out and look like ass with a whole team of people behind it.
Ah so it won’t bugger up any of my other programs then or the networking?
This works on Vista? Because that’s the OS I’m running.
Nope, shouldn’t do any of the sort.
Woah… i cannot believe how GOOD this game looks, is by far the best Fighting Maker game EVER.
As by gameplay, this game cries for a zoom out, but for now im starting to like it.
Ah thanks I’ll check it out tommorow then!
(and I guess I can always change it back if it does mess anything up)
For a donjon game this sure is different.
No easy chains, no special cancels, only links and targets except for one character?
Madness.
Where’s my easy ABC! (I don’t mind it’s just different as hell)
Is more like an “oldskool” style of fighting game, i guess.
Still the game isnt really that different compared to, you known, IAMP.
Man I’m trying to grind BB and play Project Diva and now this game is out.
Fucking fuck.
Yeah, it should work on Vista (using it as my OS now, actually).
(Sorry for missing this earlier)
By the way, if you cant put your Windows in Japanese you can at least try to run the game with AppLocale.
applocale hasn’t been working for most people with this game, so far. And everyone can go into Japanese locale easily, so it’s a non-issue, if slightly annoying.
Well got J2key to work with my TE stick but now the game is running at a ridiculously shit framerate when earlier it was running smooth as hell.
Try playing in fullscreen.
Worked for me in Vista 64 and Win7 64, so now I can finally play the shit. I agree with everybody who says it feels really weird…but that’s kind of good since it makes you have to think about things in unconventional ways. I just played through with Haruka, now i’m gonna try to pick up on Kaede. Also, on normal or above difficulty you kind of have to have a good idea of what your’e doing, haha.
This shit is a little unique. It’s actually really hard to combo without your assist. Fortunately, you can use that assist pretty much constantly until you run out of meter. It seems like you use the assist for setups and to cover gaps in your combos, so you can combo stuff.
I’m actually having a ton of fun with it.
Oh and yeah, I’m running it in vista 64 bit. It wouldn’t run at first, but after I changed my system locale to Japan it worked.
