I think theres some other mechanic at hand causing this. I can’t replicate it on a kara

So just picked this game up yesterday. I remember playing this years ago. Just got one question. I don’t see much info for BB Hood VS2. Is she worth picking up or should I go with someone else? I like BBs style and I seem to be coming along quicker using her. Just wondering…
Well she is mid-tier, I think that at least means they are worth picking up.
Not that the tiers terribly apart or anything in this game anyway.
Yea I seen most of the chars are mid tier. Not that tier list really matter to me anyway. I was just more curious just because the lack of info. Or maybe I’m just not looking hard enough.

A) Save yourself the hassle and dont bother with VS2. Savior 1 has a much more “complete” engine comparatively.
B) Look up videos of Kosho and other japanese players for some concepts and ideas on how to play BB. Also play B-Izm on GGPO, hes almost certainly the best American BB hood
We need some more online tourneys or else this game will never pick up much.

Well the japanese certainly are the best, so I guess I will follow that list.
Uhm Bulleta is Top tier…4th out of 15 does not put you in the mid tier range.
But even then, who gives a rats ass about tiers in this game? Every character is competitive and capable of winning, this isn’t some game where 4 characters rule the entire game (Marvel) or where the only characters winning tournaments are top tier characters (3S). I’ve seen Sasquatch, Zabel, Bulleta and Talbain win tournaments, but I’ve also seen Morrigan, Lilith, and even Victor and Anakaris be jocking for wins. So, let’s not cling to tiers so hard. That’s what makes this game fun is that is not HEAVILY based on tiers.

I wish people would stop looking at tiers for this game =. It annoys me everytime i see it.
This is just me…but tiers are just pointless to me on this game. You don’t really notice massive advantages between characters. You notice it but it’s invisible to the naked eye.
Since Anakaris has a great chance at beating Bish. :wonder:
