Btw I was looking at hunter and savior matches today. Do you think that hunter was less forgiving than savior seeing as savior had the regenerating white bar system? It seems like it.

Everyone’s usually on GGPO for Savior. 2DF Savior has input delay. 2DF Hunter works perfect though. (I can get Hunter working on GGPO)
Once life settles back down, I’ll be back on GGPO and trying to get my execution back. I’ve only been playing on pad for like the past few months since I have a 360 stick.

Well I will also finally be back online playing Savior after I get my SFIV TE stick because I know you can use that on 360 as well as PC. But besides waiting on SF4 and the stick I been pretty good.
Anyhow for who all that cares. Got some more updates on The Vampire Ressurrection idea I had a while back. I had gotten lazy, and didn’t feel like continuing at the time. Going to work took up my creative time during the holidays. But now I will be on my grizzy. So here ya go. Of course, these are just fun ideas to past the time but hey they are sorta helping me get the thinking wheel running with my original game ideas.

Those players are pretty good and as I read it should only be a basis and the match ups are open for discussion.

I don’t quite agree with the Q-Bee vs Aulbath though. I’d say it’s wayyyy more lopsided than 3-7. And 6-4 vs Gallon? I guess it 's because Gallon is a wuss if you bubble him a couple of times? I don’t really know anything besides a lucky jump that isn’t pressured right that Gallon can escape the Bubble with, seeing as Beast Cannon flies right into the Bubble.

I think the list is fine. Maybe some 0.5 could be changed but else it’s fine the way it is.
Eh, It isnt that americans are the best at vampire savior. But common sense says that list is bleh to start with. Not to mention i also play with the japanese players(being in japan and all) and i dont agree with that list in the slightest
Yeah oouchi is a well known american Jedah player. Not that nationality matters. :sarcastic: :rolleyes: :sarcastic: . When presented to the common knowledgeable player, the matchup chart obviously has more than a few flaws. You do not see this because…well, you can come to the conclusion.
no offense, but the “common knowledgeable player” has no idea, at least outside of japan. while i agree that single pro players do not necessarily make lists that make much sense, this is a list by players like DD sas, kengallon, buzz etc. and it seems kind of silly to just go and “correct” matchups that you don’t understand. as long as there is no justicifation given by the japs for their list, you might as well make your own list.
how can you know if there haven’t been any recent developments or strats or anything to justify some of those matchups.

all im saying is, it’s completely ridiculous to try and “correct” it if you can’t even ask them why they put this and that matchup 6:4 instead of 5:5, that’s just arrogant and ignorant. i’m sure they could explain their reasoning properly. just go ahead and ask them on ggpo when you see them, ddsas, kengallon and others play there from time to time.

Even your own theory can be used against you. Orecom and Oouchi are 2 Japanese players that both placed 2nd ahead of any of the other players that made this list, other than kosho who got 1st. Being Japanese has nothing to do with being good or making this list, and I’m not going to say how I go even with any of them because it’s just online game and skills shown should not be taken into account on my own or their part.
If me Aya and B izm are in Japan on DCC we can ask to make it 3 on 3, and maybe then you will see. But I really don’t feel the need to prove any of this to you, mainly because you just don’t understand yet.
Japan is the godfather of this game, but not the gods. They can be beaten. Take the cock out of the mouth.
Not to toot my own American horn or anything, I would correct some of the things on that list for the sheer fact that I play this game myself and I know that some of those matchups are just fucking stupid. Q-Bee vs Aulbath isn’t a 7-3 matchup, for the sheer fact that Q-Bee can almost completely immobilize Aulbath and put him into situations where he can’t easily retaliate as well as, say, Sasquatch or Rapter. Aulbath can’t GC out of many Q-Bee things because his Guard cancel is pretty bad. Aulbath has to get lucky and either swing the momentum back in his favor or start off a match that way. Once Q-Bee gets momentum on Aulbath, there’s pretty much nothing he can do to stop her. So 7-3 is pretty generous in my opinion.
Now onto the “Japanese Nut Hugging” or trying to come up with of an accurate tier list of the game or not. I don’t give a flying rats ass who created the damn list. Some of those matchups are either wrong or pretty generous. Now some things I do agree with, but I dunno about some characters placings in the chart. For example, BBH should not be that low in the listings at all. I’ve played against some pretty wicked BBH users (read B-IzM) and I would say that she deserves to be top tier. Come on, Kosho has placed in many tournaments and the best player (imo) was a BBH player, Sako. BBH is top tier, and for good reason.
So to say that we’re disrespecting Japanese players by not agreeing with their lists and correcting it based on what WE as players have seen in our own experience is pretty noobish, if you ask me. For someone that still plays VS a lot, some of you guys have really no room to talk, because you don’t play Japanese players on GGPO, nor do you begin to really STUDY matches besides looking at the matches on Youtube and going "JEEBUS, ‘Japanese player X’ is good, that matchup must be really bad for “Japanese player Y’s character. Let’s look at this indisputable chart made by the always correct Japanese players. Yup, it says it’s hopeless.”
