A bit of a silly question but is Jedah in CFJ exactly the same as in VS?
I ask cos I currently I cant play an import version of VS Chronicles but I want to practice properly with Jedah and CFJ is easy aquire.

Not even close. He’s pretty bad in VS compared to CFJ (which basically based off his VS2 version).
yeah Jedah is very good in CFJ and especially VS2 in which he actually has a anti-air move to keep pressure off him. I still like his VS1 form anyhow.

well tiers dont matter much if not at all in this game. but yeah he isnt a good character to start with…to win at high level you have to be pretty advanced.

on a side note i found that its easier to combo DI’s if you tap jab jab with the chain combo. then just input the forward, lk hp. so immediately after c.hp input the jab jab. it helps me input the forward without rushing it in and messing up the command.

if i remember right, an aulbath/bishamon/??? team won gamest cup. the reason i dont know the last character is because they never got past shu (bishamon). this game is less tiered than 3s.
im not saying low tier are just as good as top tier, of course not. top tiers are there for their ease of winning and overall options.
for example, sasquatch command grab into dash hk s.mp xx ES spin kick.
lilith’s DI combos do nearly as much as that, but is way harder to execute. another thing is that sasquatch has more options to land his combo. but lilith is still very playable but just harder, imo thats what makes the tiers in this game.
Does it work from the 4 hit close standing roundhouse…ala CvS2? (It’s been a LONG time since I’ve played DarkStalkers.) Out of any move, I’ve found that one allows you the most time to interrupt into the Darkness Illusion.

Bishamon is high tier. Him and Demitri are right below the big 5.
It’s not 3rd Strike bad, and it’s definitely one of the most balanced fighters around, but the majority of the people winning tournaments are using Sasquatch/Bishamon/Bulleta/Zabel.
Aulbath can hang as well, since if you get caught in the corner and he’s got enough meter, you’re pretty much done.
Last Blade 2 is also really well balanced, but you still rarely see anyone below Kagami win a tournament.
Hey guys, I skimmed through most of the thread so I realize I may have missed the relevant info. but I was wondering if there were any in-depth info. on playing Queen Bee.
Sting the shit outta them with bees! Seriously though Her mp hits just right and can get you in position for a grab.
attack primarily with airdashes and low pokes. thats the meat of her game
keep your spacing always ready for s.mk and c.hp anti airs, zone with different tactics like j. early mk, land hk, hold up to delay it, etc.
jedahsministry told me chicken guard works good, and im pretty sure it would with QB :).
c.mp is a good poke if they expect a tri jump, nothing too serious but it can lead to c.mk, and if they keep falling for it, it adds up. then when they start blocking low tri jump again :).
