Matching Service is not a Terrible port at all. So long as you pick Savior type for the chars its not a bad way to get aquainted to the game and as was mentioned, the training mode is pretty solid. The biggest change is a lot of chars lost their ground dash links (ie. Lilith, Zabel, Hood) Also Rikuo’s darkforce lags the HELL out of the game to a hilarious level.
So then, I’ll be picking this game up…
I haven’t been playing much lately but I stop by in the GGPO every now and then. Great to see this game getting more and more steam everyday, only started following fighters 2 years ago and this game is hands down one of my top favorites. Getting my ass constantly kicked and getting tips from experienced players is really great, I hope this scene can make a huge come back because it honestly deserves it. Very underrated fighter more people should play.

SLEDGE ended up missing the last bi-weekly tournament due to having to leave early, but was able to attend this time. Should be seeing more of him in the future as well as he is an FFA regular.

Hah, to be honest you probably shouldn’t be looking forward to them that much. Everyone entered is very new to the game and the level of play isn’t quite yet there yet.

Victor can definitely do well in the right hands. I watched a Japanese 12-on-12 team tourney the other day where one Victor took out 9 members of the opposing team.
I like Kajoq’s game of “See how many more command throws I can land than Victor”.

Very impressed on how the game ran with japanese players, I would of thought it would lagged, but Japan with their fiberoptics. Also, SaviorMeister ;( dude is wayyy too quick
I was playing matches with hampster last night. In the end he accused me of using a lag switch, and wouldn’t say GGs back to me. Lol.

when we played, it did keep laggin randomly too, but It was still playable otherwise. It did effect some of our combos, so i could see where hampster could get annoyed =P
