How is Vampire Chronicle for Matching Service on the Dreamcast? I assume it can play arcade perfect Vampire Savior but I figure I should ask.
Much easier to play DC games now that the MC Cthulhu has been updated for Dreamcast!
No the dc version is a bad port to play for Vs even if its the matching service (matching service games means Capcom just added horrible online netcode).
Chronicle is essentially to Darkstalkers what Hyper SF2 is to SF2. You can choose a game mode for each character (Vampire, Hunter, Savior, Savior 2), but there are various inaccuracies with regards to the original games.

I think the DC is the only version I have access too console wise. If so then thats kinda stinks
you can practice basic teching and gcing with it. i think its the only version with a straight up record/play mode in training mode

I think this game really does run too fast on ggpo. Like one or two frames at times.
It wouldn’t surprise me cause playing sf2:hf through hsf2 speed 1 is a different then the regular rom without desyncs(then again its been stated both options are too fast still). And i think its been stated by the Japanese players that vampire savior does run a little faster dunno about hunter though. At least you guys have better emulation then the cps3 games no combo counter for player 2 in Jojo’s or hit boxes visible in the hit box editor.
