I need some anti anti-Rikuo and some more anti Q-bee action.
Generally I use Lei-Lei.
The main problem with q-bee is ultra beast rushdown. Seems the only way out would be a super quick tech hit or guard cancel, but it’s tough online and that usually gets me destroyed if i try that. Staying out of the corner works well, but if I happen to get there–DEATH!
I’m not sure why I have problems with Rikuo, but I always have. I know he’s really good, but I can’t pinpoint any mistakes, it just seems like he out prioritizes everything, has ridiculous range, and I can’t touch him.

Hey guys I use strictly Lilith in this game and against the CPU I do better when I use her LP+LK/MP+MK/HP+HK Doppleganger attack. Now I know doing well against the CPU means nothing but does anyone find this useage of meter worthwhile or no?
From the few match vids I’ve watched that contained Lilith matches it seems that noone uses this attack.

It’s excellent, if you are good at spacing your self, It’s something you’d probably use more often to seal a second or third game down. It can be invaluable mix up late game and can really change the match around.
with lei lei, her j.mp and j.lk should beat out alot of qbee’s silly shit. once she’s on you though, your teching has to be hella good, or you halfto play the patient game & just wait for that one opportunity to jump, then double pendulum out.
aubath seems to counter leilei from my experience. i think sabre’s had more successful dealings w/ leilei vs. aubath than I, since I dont come across many good aubaths.
playing as aubath tho, well timed sonic waves and gas’s limit the height at which leilei can airdash in from afar/midscreen. what will beat him tho, is finding what beats out his s.hp. always try and have 1 meter to df if he goes for bubble.
as far as lilith goes, use the light and medium df’s. the fierce one is shitty, and is practical for nothing aside from that initial bit of invincibility you get from startup. the rest is good for corner pressure(broken block strings & soul flashes.), once you’ve corralled the enemy.
Ah cool thanks. Every vid Ive seen so far was only 1 match (3 rounds) so maybe they were just saving that for surprise.
gbursine= Thank you also. I noticed that the HP+HK Dark Force (forgot the name yesterday) was less effective than the Light and Medium ones.
EDIT: I saw a really cool combo video on really easy combos to do while in the HP+HK Dark Force. Like just mashing Staning LP then comboing into her Darkness Illusion. Pretty funny.
Also Is her “Show Time” special practical? It seems more like a novelty special to me but I’m sure I’m missing out on something.

Show-time is impractical, there is little reason to use it, when you could do some ES soul setups in it’s place, but it looks nice when you link off of her ES command throw.

Gloomy Puppet Show does huge damage if you press the right shit. Button presses in time to the music as per the indicator plus extra presses to go with uh the high hat or triangle or something? I can look this up if anyone cares.

I do care…very much so. This would be very appreciated. In training I tried pressing the correct attack in sync with the images and 1 time out of 5 i took like 1/5 of their health bar away. The other times I must have been way off on the timing.

Hachiouji Lilith prepared a bunch of material about it. There are six patterns. You get extra points by pressing an unshown “arrange” button – I think this can be anything but Hachi recommends specific ones. Max points are achieved by double (or triple) tapping the proper buttons (take a look at the “SUPER PATTERNS.”)
108 = max damage. So anything above that is just for fun. I’ll post a little more later, but I think you can glean something just from the pics here:
