which game has all the characters? the Sega Saturn right? IIRC, it has all the characters and you can choose different game system, ie, darkstalker or vampire savior.

Darkstalkers Collection (JP onry) on PS2 has everything and can choose all the systems too. And it has Dee. The Donovan/Demitri headswap char
Only the PS2 version has Dee? He’s a pretty weird char. I’ve watched videos on youtube of him.
I’m gonna start to do a tech hit in a lp-mp-hp sequence. In this way I can match the input for Tandemu combo in JoJo. Sigh. My fingers…
I’ve actually begun doing five inputs for my tech hitting. I hit jab, short, strong, medium, and then fierce.
My Tech hits are getting much better. So you may want to try that.
Thanks, but I just find this sequence is even more slower when I am doing it. You even have to move your thumb to hit medium, right?
So far the fastest way, I think, is hp-mp-lp-lk, (ring finger for HP, middle for MP, index for LP, thumb for LK) or maybe even one or two more for pinky to hit mk and hk. I found this is most naturally comfortable finger movements. To myself at least.
I have a couple of dumb questions. I’ve dug around SRK and a handful of other sites and I still didn’t feel 100% sure about some of this.

When people say “VS,” am I correct that this game–the one that people still play today–is the third one, ie. vanilla Vampire Savior?

People play Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire. The most active scene would be in Japan, but most of the people that still play this game play on GGPO.
Well Hunter is still played in Japan as well. The have the DCC which features Hunter and Savior. But Fuzzy is right. Most people play Savior and most of them (especially anywhere that isn’t Japan) are on GGPO.
