In the Saturn version, you will have full animation only when this is turned on and both players choose the same character.
You will definitely notice a difference when picking certain same characters. (Anakaris, Huitzul, Pyron)
Saturn’s built in RAM couldn’t handle all of the character data for two characters in VH. Savior doesn’t have this problem because it uses the 4MB memory expansion cart.
Ah yeah, forgot about that. Still, for reference sake with frame advance and hit box viewing it’s handy to see just how effective some attacks are all around.

I just realized that you can’t guard cancel without Donovan’s sword…that sux. I love his character but he really doesn’t have that much going for him. But he has some of the most damaging combos in the game though.

So I just spent about 15 minutes in bootleg practice mode with nfbacheats and I managed to sorta combo donovans standing fierce with his devil super.
If you can drum out the super fast enough it does it right away and since your so close while hitting the fierce it automatically hits the other person.
Can’t do it consistently yet. but it comes out. A hit with the fierce with the super move connecting right away without flying back.
If I can get this down perfect that will make my donovan game just a bit better 
edit- and now, after doing it a few times in a row I can’t do it fast enough anymore hahahahahah. how random.

Thanks for the cheats. For the longest time NightWarriors had the “ST” problem, where characters wouldn’t go into hitstun so ghetto training mode wouldn’t work. Glad that’s not an issue anymore.
