Re: Pro to Scrub ratio

1. Execution

-very important and we all know why

2. Mental Strength

-to be able to keep your cool and slow a match down when necessary or keep pressure on when necessary…this helps in situations vs cross-ups, strong footsies, heavy zoning

3. Combos

-if when you hit, you do shit damage, and you’re not using someone that knocks your opponent back across the screen or into an ideal spacing, then you need to work on your dmg output

4. Spacing

-this shit takes WORK. ask, watch, practice, move…this is an art

5. Mindgames/Mix-up

-have some…get better ones

6. Match-up/Game knowledge

-read up, play, learn what you can and can’t do in games to make your chances of winning higher…learn how counters work in respect to special moves, etc (punishment and all that good stuff)

7. Set-up/Strategy

-have SOME idea of what it is you aim to do when the announcer yells START!/FIGHT!/whatever… whether it be as detailed as do this when they do that or that when they do this or as simple as rush that shit down

It is not easy, yet it is not hard to get a grasp on this stuff. What is so crispy about it is that if you are weak in one of these, then it REALLY does weaken the others.

Still trying to lvl up myself, but this is what I have learned from getting beat and practicing.
