No one has more “right” to say or do anything here than anyone else. Period.
There is no criterion for that and no way to “earn” that. Period.
Those of us who think otherwise are exacerbating a problem that shouldn’t exist, and stunting the growth of a community. Period.
I have fallen victim to thinking otherwise in the past, and hence only made the situation worse at the time, and for that I apologize.
I am both extremely capable and willing to discuss this, especially with Foomyjin, since he is essentially the only one taking exception, and I believe in communication, especially when misinformation has been the norm. However doing so in these threads is largely pointless, since it is essentially only the two of us who care. I welcome the chance to have a disagreement/debate. But it’s not a debate if only one of the parties is actually listening to the other one.
So, I will extend the invitation to work this out to Foomy, outside of this thread, for the betterment of both of us, and the community. I am entirely capable of discussing things logically without getting upset, and I would prefer to do that in order to avoid senseless animosity. So, Matt, now, the ball is in your court. PM me, IM me, call me, whatever. If I may interject my opinion, not doing so would be voting to have discord, and therefore, dumb.
And Ollie, for the record I never said Foomy didn’t help, in fact I commended him for doing so in my previous post.
