Since then, SRKUW has been active. In fact, we’ve been very, very active! Our main session is every Friday on campus at the UW. We’re usually in Savery Hall playing whatever we’re in the mood for: AE 2012, UMvC3, SFxT, SF4 Remix, MvC2, VS, SSBM, P4U, etc. We still mainly communicate through Facebook in our group <a href=“http://www.facebook.com/groups/252120041483549/”>Shoryuken UW</a>, but I’ll try to keep this updated more often or may Samuelio will.
We have a <a href=“http://www.facebook.com/events/463768143678798/”>session</a> planned for this Friday starting at 6pm (may get moved to 7pm). There’s no entry fee or anything, we just ask that you bring your own controller, if possible, but we’re cool lending out pads or sticks if needed. We play on both Xbox 360s and PS3s, so bring whatever you have.
Man, there’s so much history in this thread. My introduction to this group, Lain’s and our group’s dark days with Melty Blood… I have to give this a read!

<div class=“QuoteText”>Any CVS2, UMK3, SSF2T, or any other old school street fighter and old school mortal kombat games?</div>
</blockquote>Meant to respond to this sooner. There’s always a little bit of ST, but no CvS2 or UMK3. That being said, I think a few of our guys might be interested in learning. We have an old Texas(?) CvS2 head who always wants to make it out, but he lives a distance away and has a family so it’s hard.<br><br>We’ll be holding another session this Friday. Savery Hall, 6pm, room TBD. I gotta get the Facebook page up at some point, but I have post-monthly write ups to do.<br><br>EDIT: <a href=“http://www.facebook.com/events/457858830951217/”>Facebook event page</a> is up. This week will feature the return of the SBO-style tournaments at 9pm, specifically for SF4 Remix and SF4 1st hit, bo1<br>
Session tomorrow! Details are on <a href=“http://www.facebook.com/events/349877361798377/”>Facebook</a>. SamuelioX’s been talking crap, so we’re gonna beat him up in Mario Party 5.<br><br>Skip’s bringing his PS2 with CvS2, but he only has one PS2 stick. Besides that, there’s always SF4 and UMvC3 in some form.<br><br>If I ever can’t be reached and you don’t use Facebook, try twitter (<a href=“https://twitter.com/tLozSEA”>@tLozSEA</a>). I’m not the best at checking SRK nowadays. Still trying to change that.<br>
No session today due to it being dead week and everyone needing the time to study. There’s a tournament going on tomorrow (Saturday) in Lynnwood. It’ll be the biggest tournament of the month with 10 different games taking place. Details are in the Northwest forum.
so I can see that no1s used this thread in 3 years but i thought id give it a shot. Im moving to seattle adn living in U district for the summer. where can I go nearby for some casuals in marvel, injustice, or streetfighter 2?
Ah sorry I don’t check this frequently at all. Let me find dates for next events… It’s all organized via facebook so you’re missing out. Except Facebook sucks and is annoying so I can’t hate.
Next week is a major up in Vancouver BC called Canada Cup so nobody is hosting tournaments that I know of.
Hmm there don’t seem to be events posted up yet. Let me ask Deniz, he’s the dude. I’ll link him here and he should be able to get you a calendar list.
