just make sure it has a response time of 5ms or less and it should be ok
the only advantage plasma has over lcd is the blacks are darker but lcd lasts longer are lighter and dont burn in at all but as long as the response time is good u should be ok either way
search the avsforums for the tv model number and u can find alot of info about picture quality and lag on that set
thats a known problem with the te and se sticks i think its the pcb it seems like alot of buttons randomly stop working but mostly rh its weird

my 46 inch is around that i think and i notice it bad my 26 inch monitor is 2ms and i cant tell at all 6.5 wont motion blur especially if its 120 hrz but you will notice a little bit of input lag
if your buyin it strictly for gaming i would go a little smaller with a better response time for the same price if its your all around tv and u need it big that should work ok
i play all competitive games onmy monitor cuz i hate the lag but i use my 46 for tv and other games that dont take precision

As far as television goes, it’s good to look at a few things such as response time, background additions companies love to do to make the picture smoother but slows shit down and so forth.
But reponse time is very very misleading. www.avsforums.com Your answer for all things television and how to do a true “lag” calibration test. There’s a Rock Band 2 calibration trick, but there are more accurate ways but a bit lengthier.
