Wait, a big step back from VANILLA? I felt Rose is still a lot stronger than she was back then, especially with her improved c.hp … she actually has a more viable AA now. Meh, either way … I’ve played Rose since Vanilla. To me, it doesn’t get much worse than that. :lol:
I do agree that Rose’s nerfs weren’t necessary.

Changing Rose’s U2 startup time wasn’t necessary and neither was removing her super trap. With that being said, she has solid footsies, some of the best in the game and she’s still viable. Everybody god nerfed in AE other than Ken, Gouken, Fei, and Seth. I’m probably excluding some, but I don’t feel like writing up a whole page about character buffs and nerfs.
Eh, I guess it’s my turn to get the “Quit bitching and just play” card. Fair enough. I’m probably not going to pick a new main, anyway, so that’s just how it goes. I just don’t get it, and when I don’t get it, I get a bit testy and rant. 99% of the time I keep it off the internets; I just forgot that this time.

What are these so called “undeserved nerfs” rose got that I’m missing? Only significant one seems to be U2, but that one is well deserved. She still has ridiculous normals, ridiculous dashes, ridiculous anti-fireball game and a strong throw game to boot. If the ultra nerf is going to affect your gameplay that bad, it’s not the character you should be worried about…
Anyways, AE tiers seem pretty fucked up to me, fireballs are hella nerfed and that shouldn’t happen since this is SF after all, not some random guilty gear game.

SF has never really been about fireballs, it’s all zoning and footsies. More than half the cast don’t even have them right? MK is all about projectiles as EVERY damn character has one haha
I think the Rose U2 nerf is a good one because it is still WAY useful as a gtfo me move. Her other nerf is c.mp right? If that’s it, she’s fine…her pokes are still better than most.
I don’t get why they don’t nerf the following:
- Fei’s damage
- Rufus instant dive kick
At least make that dive kick easier to hit like the twins.

I would put money on Gus doing a random picked against most . Why, because he plays smarter. So any A or B tier, I will put 5 on Gus with him random picking vs your main.
