FWIW, I feel that it makes perfect sense to hold Ranbats for SFIV only. I mean, there just isnāt enough interest in the scene to necessitate ranking battles for other games.
However, I feel that ranking battles are only a small part of the scene. I will enter every ranbat that I can, but only for scene support. Haha, I know that I suck and am not going to place. But itās all about having a good time.
What do you guys think about setting up a small LCD and console for āking of the hillā battles for other games during ranbats? Granted, there isnāt really enough space to facilitate this at Andyās houseā¦ But then again, the number of ranbat participants is quickly outgrowing Andyās house.
Sooner or later, weāre going to need another place to set up. I have a massive fucking basement with plenty of room to accommodate, but I donāt expect everyone to drive to Layton ever couple of weeks either. We should start looking into alternatives before itās too late.

I think a small LCD for other games would be cool. Also, ppl you guys should hold casuals if you want to play other games, like Wallace/Kyle does.
Also, donāt worry about a need for a bigger place. Way ahead of you. Hopefully, if all goes as plans, we should have a 3500 square foot place by the next ranbat. Located in SLC. Weāll talk more this weekend. Hope Arkansas is treating you right.

Iām actually inclined to hold meets at my house for those that are interested in playing some older games, as well as SFIV. If that is of interest to anyone, then hit me up. We could have a lot of fun on the arcade cabinets, as well as the big-screen console games.
