Hey guys, I’m in Salt Lake City, near Liberty Park. I mostly play ST and a little 3s, though honestly I’m not very good at either. I’m also planning on playing -a lot- of SFIV. For a while I was thinking I was the only fighting game fan in this state :wgrin:. I’ll be pretty interested in Friendlies and Tournies, especially when SFIV is released.
As far as arcades here go-
The Tilt at Gateway has 3s, a KoF (2k2 I think) and MvC2.
This arcade opened up pretty recently and seems to have some potential, the owner wants to get BlazBlue and Arcana Heart 2. Right now I think they only have SF2 HF, KoF 98’, SVC Chaos and MvC1.
Hopefully they get BlazBlue. That’ll be fun to try out.
I’m having another get-together this Saturday, on the 13th. Open to anyone who wants to come. Same details as last time.

SC4 and ST HD REMIX/question for ugly
I R Happy Face right now because my SRK works!!! Anyways I am going to be going to this next tourney for 3S, STII DH(I only have one PS3 controller so if you have a stick/PS3 controller make sure you bring it), as well as SC4. So I should see you all there.
Ugly I have a question for you! I have never used an arcade stick and I may be purchasing one real soon. I am just wondering how hard it is to transistion from a normal controller to the vastly different arcade stick.
Which tournament is this? Where? Who?
Its a tournament for a game that doesnt deserve tourneys (Smash brothers brawl) which isnt even a shadow of its former self. So we are using it as a gateway to try to build a 2D fighter scene as well as maybe a 3D fighter.
Has anyone here tried Turbo Remix yet?

Utahsbowser- yeah its not that bad, although it is intimidating and takes some getting used too. i put off using stick for a long time before i actually started using one. what are you thinking of getting? i have a few of these(http://www.amazon.com/Xbox360-Fighting-Stick-EX-Xbox-360/dp/B000V02P6Q) and a few of these(http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-m-49-en-70-2byy.html) both of them are pretty good. the second one i posted is ps2/ps3/usb. i make sticks as well but with as cheap as they are getting you may as well just buy . im gonna try to make it out to the next get together and ill bring sticks to use.

I own a xbox 360 and PS3 both with SF2HDREMIX installed on both. Also own a sanwa custom stick and mas p360 stick (old school) for the ps2 (also have a pelican adapter for ps3).
Shit, I’m on call at the hospital on Jan. 24th, but I’m sure I can make the next get together.
Im really into SF2HDREMIX, never got into 3s/MVC, but really into the ALPHAS. Hopefully will get SF4.

My Live membership expired. I’m waiting to renew it once SF IV comes out. Plus I don’t like playing HD Remix a lot at the moment due to the crappy 360 controller.
I ordered the Street Fighter Fightstick TE, though. It’s a lot of money, but it’s worth it.
