Thanks for your input. I think I’ll keep using the chalk. It doesn’t cake up… that’s the point… that’s why basketball players use it and body builders.
Well, I happen to rock climb and I know a lot about the chalks to use since they really help you from slipping and one thing they offer is a paste form of chalk that works the same but doesn’t leave dust everywhere. Many will use it in their house for when they want to train but don’t want to get their house filled with dust. I’d suggest this since it’s about the same price as normal chalk but keeps your stick from getting clogged.
It will without a doubt build up in your buttons, and maybe the stick too. Dust does this already, but it’s at a much slower rate. If you must do it, I say blow everything out with dust off after each session. Worst case scenario, you need to take your buttons and stick apart and clean them. It’s not hard to do, so I say go for it.

wow that looks easy enough to DIY. i wonder what the mat is made out of. the power source just looks like a laptop charger
You could also get botox injections but idk if that would effect range of motion.
i remember seeing a guy use nitrile gloves at WNF.
I read this and tried it out. It works perfectly. They are skin thin and the texture doesn’t decrease your accuracy or sensitivity like other gloves would do. Definitely give it a try.
wear baseball/batting gloves. Thin with a grip and keep your hands warm if the venue is cold.
