This guy Mukii’s Adon is seriously the shit. I’ve never seen an Adon pressuring like that and the way he utilizes IAJK is beautiful.

Interesting results in the Topanga matches. I definitely didn’t expect Xian to do so badly at the matches. Maybe he’s got jet-lag or something. Poongko’s been really off for a while so I’m not surprised that he lost that badly to Fuudo but Xian losing to Fuudo as bad as that was definitely a surprise. I guess Fuudo studied the match-up after losing at Canada Cup. I think the Gamerbee vs. Sako was the most shocking outcome. I mean Gamerbee has had great showings through and through in recent times and to see him lose 7-0 to somebody is just out of this world.
Also does anyone know if the matches from the Kiwami team tournament are going to be uploaded somewhere?
According to BeastNote, Fuudo and Bonchan were practicing the Gen match-up with Amiyu this week.
I would not be surprised if Xiaohai vs Poongko today is another 7-0, especially after their EVO match last year. And it looks like Poongko may be near breaking point after his lost to Fuudo. Don’t think I’ve ever seen him look so down.
Yeah Poongko seems to have some serious problems. I watched almost every stream he did at Cafe Id and even then things looked seriously off. I seriously think he should consider making a switch to Yun. He’s seriously good with that character and his Seth hasn’t been half as impressive to me lately. Also I don’t understand why he’d go with Cammy as a secondary for this tournament. His Cammy is pretty meh.
This channel is uploading very often the replays of Japanese tournaments, so mostly expect the tournament here. I can really recommend this channel.
Bonchan was the biggest surprise for me in this tournament so far. I really didn’t think he would beat Xiaohai or Daigo. But he stuck to the King and pulled it out anyways. Against Daigo he was really clutch in several matches that could have gone either way including a huge comeback to win back a match and another where he TU, FADC, Ultra Ryu’s low forward when Daigo was constantly throwing it out as a poke. I wanted to see Sako’s Evil Ryu, but that wasn’t a good idea against Gamerbee’s Adon. I hope he brings him out against some of the other guys.
Topanga tend to really hunt whoever upload their PPV content and ban YT channels, don’t think it’ll be done without consequences.
