The OG Chuns are Nemo and Nuki.

Uryo only started playing Chun in Super, and that’s when he was going through a character crisis (he played Ryu, Rose, Chun, Gief, Sakura and Viper of course). When AE dropped he blogged that he was going to use Viper, Sakura and Chun, and possibly sub Ryu, Yang, Sagat or Akuma. But after playing he decided that Chun was too weak in the original AE. In fact, he said that he used Sagat about as much as he used Viper who was his sub at the time. It was only when USFIV dropped that he started taking her seriously (ie worthy of tournaments).

The last time Uryo faced Tokido it was much closer:

Curious match between Wong and Nuckledu. Didn’t think his Decapre was bad enough to justify picking Guile, he probably broke down, because he’s just got 0-3ed by Snake Eyez. All those “OMG don’t Sonic Boom!!” were funny.

I swear to god if I have to see Gief vs Makoto again and the commentators say “oh this should be easy for Gief since both characters like to be close to each other and Makoto doesn’t have many ways to keep him out” I will lose it. There’s not a single video of Gief winning a tournament match against a top Makoto.
