GAMEEEEEEEEEERRRRR BEEEEEEEEEEE

whelp Nevermind lol

Man that guy must be heartbroken.
Went to so many tournaments and did so well and now a guy like KnuckleDu goes over him

Lol what was that dancing at the end

I think Gamerbee snapped because he knew he couldn’t reach Fuudo anymore who had the whole stage behind him.

I think he was trying to heal

Last nights NLBC was one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. Great matches from top to bottom. Good stuff to Sanford for coming out of losers to win Battle Circuit, but also eliminating his demon Smug.

Zaferino…Wow!

The disrespectful taunts this weekend at NEC are ridiculous. I agree with Sci, I can’t stand cocky people.

The Smug vs. Pepeday exhibition was one of the greatest exhibition matches I’ve ever seen. My mind has exploded after watching that. That was no downback fighter 4 match. USF4 has turned into one mistake and that’s your azz!.

I know I’m not saying anything new here but with all the timeouts and close timeouts I’m seeing at nec its clear that damage is so pathetic in this game…

Man, those were some awesome winner’s and loser’s finals. Gf was a little lopsided but overall the top8 was quite good.

Pepedey was fucking dead. I can’t believe he came back from that.

I want more of PIE Sci (I think that’s his name) commentary…is this the first time he’s commentated a major?

All I’m asking for is for less Skisonic, preferably nothing.
I like most commentators in SF4 it’s only that guy that makes me mad.

Oh yeah and Britain-Is-Not-In-The-EU-Seth Killian. Yeah I know he’s respected in the community, but the guy is so clueless or at least out of touch with SF4, I’d prefer him to cast ST since he knows that game well.

Zhi is the worst imo. Ski is OK when he isn’t going completely nuts

The UK guys are streaming Omega mode right now

Well I’m going to say this…I like listening to Ultradavid and James Chen when they are doing play by plays, but when it comes to the world scene, they are very uneducated and make outlandish comments…call it sensationalist to hype up the viewers and make their tournament look extra special and important but that stuff really needs to go…

I’m talking about remarks like saying Sanford is top 3 Sagat, Snakeyez is the best Gief or even saying that Pepeday is the best Fuerte. They just do not watch and study enough international play to make these kinds of statements.

Why do they think Pepeday is the best Fuerte? Think about it, 99% of the viewers did not even know of his existence until TGS where he finally got some spotlight. But he didn’t just become a Fuerte expert at TGS. Before TGS, he was just like many of the other japanese unknown top players that I keep talking about - there are so so so many japanese top players that most players will never ever hear about, that are just like Pepeday…they will eventually come out to a tournament, win it (or place high) and people will know about them. Imagine however, that TGS did not get streamed by spooky, that it was just like all the other japanese tournaments no one knows/hears about…Pepeday wouldn’t have the fans he has now.

My point isn’t to knock pepeday…he may even be the best Fuerte. My point is that many people continuously disregard what I say when I say that there are tons of unknown Japanese arcade players that can walk into any US major (even Evo) and win it all. Pepeday is one that finally got some popularity. There are so many others and I suggest James Chen and Ultradavid (especially James Chen since he seems to make these uneducated comments more) to really study who these players are. I recommend that he go to the Japanese arcade rankings, take the top 3 or 5 players of each character and then youtube them (by their english names and their japanese names) to see what they are all about.

Anyway as I said, I LIKE Ultradavid and James Chen’s play by play, they know a lot about the game and convey it clearly…they just need more education on the world scene, particularly Japan because this is where the best players manifest. To a lot of players I notice…if it isn’t in an American stream, it’s as if it never happened. Open your eyes, there is so much more out there that just isn’t publicized (mainly because whoever is doing the srk/eventhubs frontpage news doesn’t know where to look).

As for other commentators, I liked PIE Sci’s play by play commentary, though I’m not sure what he knows about the international scene…probably not a whole lot, but it didn’t really come up much in his commentary so I won’t comment on that. I also really like F-word’s commentary and hope both of them do some commentating for Evo pools or something.

I like Sci. The one bad thing I will say about him is that he repeatedly used the same terminology, but other than that he was pretty good.

look, even japanese players i’ve talked with when they come to the us say that snake eyez is the best zangief. maybe you know more about the world scene than i do, and if so congrats, but i do watch and talk about and read about a whole bunch of sf4. imo the issue here is really more about a pro-japan bias on your part going back many years than a lack of knowledge of that scene on mine.
