My god, when I saw the first few pages of this thread back when PC version came out, I knew there was an impressive improvement over Vanilla days (some of the stuff back then was just plain awful, let’s be honest), but holy crap…guys. What the hell did you do? The latest stuff here is too godlike.

Yes Softimage has a feature called GATOR you can use to easily transfer weight maps, textures, UV coordinates, etc… from one model to another. It’s really fast, almost instant. It’s what Capcom used.

Why the skin of your mods of the characters look as dirty? Are you using some kind of compression on the DDS?

No, that’s what I’ve been trying to figure out but with little success. Animations for body bones are in the EMA files and animations for clothing/hair bones are in the BSR file.

Changes:
-Entirely new custom body: Higher resolution mesh and textures, Legs are slightly slimmer, but more well-defined (original legs looked like big fat chunks of ham with no muscle imo)…no worries though, her thighs are still the thickest in the game, it’s still Chun-Li after all. Feet slightly slimmer as well.

• Finger and toenails havetheir own 3d geometry, not just painted on textures.
  -Minor resculpting of shirt to match new body
• Body also has new UV map layout. Limbs and torso textures are on separate image files.
• Bra and undies are their own 3d model, not just painted on textures.
• New bangs for colors 1 and 2…looks more similar to her hair in the animated movie.
  -Hair variations for different color selections.
  -In order to minimize clipping, used alpha transparency to hide the body areas underneath clothing

In all honesty though, the old one was fine. I loved the big thighs to be honest. it was… delicious. I don’t know why hahaha. but this is good too. I’m gonna stick with the first version.

her legs look a little funny though, on this new one. The thigh’s need some toning, right now it looks a little bit swirly… if that makes any sense. might just be me though

I notice that you have been making a lot of Juri mods. I was wondering if you knew if it was possible to put heals on her like Rose’s? I have been trying to figure it out because I’ve been wanting a Juri in a dress/heels skin, but I’m so new/scrubby to this stuff that I’m struggling with it. I figure I might as well ask before I keep fiddling with it and botch something lol.
