Can’t wait for this! I’m actually learning how to play Ibuki and it would be nice (and weird at the same time) to play her cosplaying Akuma. BTW, will you create some texture for her feet without the bandages? Would be cool for that true Akuma/Gouki look!

Another awesome Pandora mod. For some reason it looks really well on Juri - probably the spider on her back or my own character bias. :-p

Hi kids. So yeah honestly I’m trying to finish this up quick and stop taunting, cause have a bunch of work coming up and I don’t want her like pushed to back of queue. There will be 10 colors yeah, that’s what I have to finish doing mostly. Stuff I didn’t decide on still:

Eyes - Probly leave them as they are.
Ankle wraps - It’s all or nothing since they are normals mapped, can’t just have them on some colors and not others.
Skunk stripes at temples - Sometimes Akuma has them, sometimes he doesn’t. Maybe just have on some colors idk.
Smaller things like rope colors - idk for various alternate colors. Probly randomly change some and leave others.

I wasn’t intending to give her the undershirt either since her girlstuff is still well covered without it, but it’s proven to be necessary cause of the stupid seam breaks I could never solve.

@C2Q: You can usually install mods for alternate costumes by renaming the mod’s files and some native files appropriately (like IBK_02_01.obj.emm to IBK_01_01.obj.emm and so on), or just skip the price of a takeout meal and grab the DLC I think is worth doing ;p

You could even just get the pack for the specific character you like a mod for, for a couple of bucks.

I just thought it looked weird with the sandals on, especially I’m sure she’s wearing it for protection, but I guess double the protection doesn’t hurt (datz what she said!) I think Akuma had the skunk stripes in 3rd Strike to signify age or something. Dunno. She might look cute with them tho. As far as alt colors go, might wanna do a color inspiration ALA UMvC3.

3rd Strike thing makes total sense with the temples yeah, I tend to forget SF4 is meant to be kinda early in the timeline. They look kinda Bride of Frankenstein testing it out. That’s kinda cool, I guess it’s around halloween. I might throw those on a couple alternates.

Gotta try a darker skin too. I’m going mostly by the alternate color list on character selection for general guidance, but I’ll look up some of the MvC packs ya.

I would recommend giving her emission/glare eyes on at least a couple of colors. Awesome work.

You reckon do I need to give her wierd as hell black sclera/red iris Akuma textured eyes on those colors with emission? Really uncertain how independant the emission effect is. Actually come to think of it, it might work better with just the full eye doing the red glow, she had a cool look in the eyes when she had no textures and they were just white globes.

Hell I’ll just finish last 2 colors and add that on a couple of russian roulette selections.

From the normal combat distance, you can’t see any details through the glare anyway. I also dig the blank look.

Ok got it working, isn’t fitting for me contextually. I’ll just leave that for people to add as they please ;D

so why are there no Vega (Claw) AE mods? I’ve looked through all 65 pages and nothing…

do the old mods for vanilla work for AE? im assuming it wont because there wouldnt be a need for a separate AE custom skins thread…

Why people don’t mod Claw idk, personally I mostly stick to characters I play or have art interest in, I guess there’s not many Claw players making mods(?) There isn’t something wierd in his files that makes it impossible, if you wondered.

That’s true,I personally enjoy making mods for Cody,Guy and Oni (they are my favorite and my main chars).Besides,doing mods for another chars will take time for the ideas too and I think vega mods is hard to have a fresh new idea either since everyone have done many wonderful mods for Vega like Zorro,wolverine,raphael,pop…

my first skin. i dont know how to fix the top of the head, and i dont want to put him another. but hope someone enjoy it. its a simple skin, but sure took me a lot of work.

Ive read trough all pages and I still dont understand how to edit references of textures with ddsrefedit.

Im confused in the normal map and new texture part. What should I write on that line?
