Really enjoying your Makoto mod. If you can, please fill it in with more colors/designs. Would love to see white, pink and black variants.
Also, another suggestion- a dark green color variant could have Mak with red hair- Meryl Silverburgh (underwear look from MGS1) reference.

I finally decided to update my Vanille mod for Ibuki. In addition to making the remaining 9 colors, I also fixed many problems: specularity issues, holes appearing in body parts/clothes, semi transparency for hair and fur material, etc. Also everything now has a proper normal map and specular map and her face and body have proper ambient occlusion.

Looking at that 9th color…could a school swimsuit be done? :3

Couple days fixing last glitches in the mesh and rigging, basically should have taken an hour, but everything I changed spawned even more evil nasty things. Taking a couple inches off her legs for example, to make room for wood sandals, turned out to be absurdly buggy. I’m gonna call the mesh/rigging done, though imperfect, and move on to texture and material stuff, or I’ll be here until old age.

I took some footage to freezeframe through in avidemux, what errors I still see I’m just gonna live with and fix in a future pass, I want to get this shit done. Here’s some animation checks, just performing a range of motions/random buttons. There still aren’t twosided material flags, any material properties, maps or textures.

Hi everyone, just out of curiosity has anyone been having issue logging into sf 4ae from steam. The past 2 days mine has been really buggy the first time I updated my divers an reloaded all of my original files and all was well. Now since yesterday I keep getting messages that windows can’t run it and will notify me when there is an update. Is anyone else having or had this issue?

I have jsut logged onto Steam with SSF4: AE and it seems to be fine.
What does it say when you run it when your not in Steam? Go to the steam folder and load it from there, without the steam program. If it still persists, we can go from there. If not, then its steam itself and you have to call technical support.

Which usually, if the game doesn’t like the mod, it normally says that and I have to remove it. I installed the originals, then did it again, and it won’t work still.

Just to note: SSF4: AE has been freezing recently so I underclock the card to prevent the total system lockup error I usually get when playing games like Dragon Age: Origins and the like.

If that is the reason, let me know, but many other skin mods work perfectly, I wonder if its just that high res.

Yea thats when it usually crashes. In fact, I can load like, Juri first then as soon as Makoto starts loading it crashes.
Dunno, perhaps its based on the card itself, I can try with my card at normal settings, but dunno.

I thought I’ve read someone mentioned having problem with the default texture filter setting back then…
You could try set it to 2X or higher
But then again, I could be wrong
