Rolento’s far st.HP sometimes only hits once on standing Dudley (1st hit connects, then 2nd hit completely misses). I’m pretty sure most Rolento players know this but I just wanted to make sure it’s in the list.
Is this actually the “Stun reeling animation” issue that you included in Dudley’s list?
I think that is due to Dudley’s stun reeling animation causing his hurtbox to move back after Rolento lands the first hit of far.hp which causes the second hit of Rolento’s far.hp to whiff.

So,you know that,sometimes when Elena FADC her HK Lynx Tail she passes trough some characters,right? and you also remember that vid I posted about Elena doing normal moves backwards after a st.MK xx MK Spin Scyte on crouching Rog right? well:
-Elena can HIT most of her normal moves backwards if she FADCs her HK Lynx Tail against a Crouching Vega on corner
Those should get addressed simply with fixing the FADC pass throughs though.
Looking at her file it seems she only has a hurtbox on her waist during the throw whiff and due to her hunched over nature it’s positioned pretty far back and her head pushbox gets in the way preventing hugo from reaching her vulnerable areas. She isn’t “invulnerable” just Hugo doesn’t have the reach to actually hit the vulnerable areas with his butt. Semantics really. But she should have vulnerability on her head. That’s an oversight.

Are you sure it’s not just a skipped frame? Do you have framerate set to “fixed”? Variable frame rate is known to drop frames, sometimes the damaging frames of command grabs (and attack grabs).
That’s true. Damage only occurs on 1F (afaik) so a variable frame rate would result in possibly skipping the specific frame that the damage connected resulting in no damage occuring.
It’d be kind of fun/a major headache to try and do a “variable frame rate only” combo video hint hint doopliss
You’d be able to cancel some 3f specials into Ultras/higher priority specials, that’s about it. But I think that only works when performed as a reversal, severely limiting the potential stuff you could do (See arcade Guy’s 2F EX Tatsu).
Rolento’s far hp whiffing 2nd hit when 1st hit connects is definitely not Dudley specific. It happens to many characters, possibly all of them. IIRC it also happens a lot against Dictator and Abel as well. I’m pretty sure it just has to do with the moves shitty hitboxes and weird active frames.
It would make the game more boring IMO. SFxT had universal-ish hitboxes, made the combo system less fun than USFIV despite all the extra stuff you could do.
