It was 2-0, it wasn’t close, lag was fine, average at least. YOU sent mail to me first. I’m very good about not doing random headbutts, but I tick-throw a lot and why wouldn’t I? I’ll stop when it stops working. Not hard to counter. AA headbutts or headbutts through fireballs are hardly random.

You also proceeded to send me an essay about how great you are trying to bait me into a flamewar with you, when I replied the typical online random comment(which is typical), I then blocked you because you weren’t worth the effort.
Concerning throw spam online with 3 bars:
If you throw me 50 times offline and I can’t break one then that’s one thing and that’s just crazy bad on my part. Throws are indeed a big part of the game. But when there is blatant latency issues on PSN online I mean shit man, if it’s that important to you to win a player match by throwing 4-5 times a round then good shit, that’s why we only played one fight and that was it. People like you are the reason I usually don’t play randoms in player matches. Good shit on one random 3 bar win, I’ll be sure to watch out for you at top 8 evo next year.
Also I recommend anything else you want to say goes into my PM box.
I don’t recall bragging about skill, or stating that online matches meant anything at all, so those insults seem rather pointless.
But I like how I made a thread questioning why everyone I play with _SRK in their name seems to suck donkey balls at street fighter, and sends hatemail like a whiney bitch (not saying ALL of you, but the ones I so happen to have played) and people come to the thread to prove me 100% correct. What a perfectly fulfilled thread.
i’ve noticed that just today . . . but i just cannot remember if they were any good. I pwnd a lot of players and i’ve got my ass handed to me by a few, lost many to weak scrubs . . i don’t know how lolz. But yeah, what’s up with the _srk thing? Are they actually on here? A few I bet but hmmm . . .
this is a community not an elitist group of people it has people of all types of skill level. So stop bitching and no one cares to be honest for gods sake.
^Yea its a community, One that has good players. The SRK tag just gets thrown around like some prison bitch and scrubs wear it like a badge of honor. If you’re gonna sport it atleast rock it the right way. For you guys reading this, It goes in FRONT of your tag, Not behind it.

You cannot condemn someone from wearing a community tag just because they are horrible it’s just not how it works. It’s a community and again even if a majority are good, i’m good at XVSF and Marvel 1 and been playing it for easily 5+ years. But I just switched over to SF4 and i’m shitty at it so if I wanted to rock Ikuzo_SRK or IkuzoSRK (Not saying I would I personally think it’s retarded) I couldn’t just because im bad at SF4? But again i’m apart of the community and I should be able to wear the tag and I wouldn’t understand why I wouldn’t be able too especially how I have been here since 03’.
See it’s a two edged sword, I think the most logical solution instead of bitching about this is just giggle and just move on especially if someone just sends you hate mail and they brag and shit.
I changed my gamertag to “parabellum srk” just so that friends on here and XBL could find me easier.
I have played people and had them message me after saying “Hey, I know you from SRK, good match, etc…”
Or in one case “I thought you would be better if you are on srk”
For me, its not bragging or trying to say I’m really good…its just that I like this place and it makes it easier for people to find me both here and on XBL.
I think I may have played one, maybe two people with SRK after their user name. But that was awhile back so I can’t say that I’ve seen an overabundance of people doing it. Either way though, it shouldn’t matter if they’re any good or not. Like some people already mentioned on here, this is a community of players, beginners and advanced alike, who all share a common interest. I’m sure there are plenty of older members on this site, who are proud to have been here since way back and do it as a means of representing their community. Likewise, I’m sure that there are also plenty of newcomers, like myself, who have learned and will continue to learn a lot more down the road about playing and enjoying this game through time spent on here and just want to show some appreciation. And someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought SRK was also a commonly known acronym for shoryuken. Maybe some people, unaware of this community, just simply did it because of that. Who knows? I just can’t see why this should be such a touchy subject.

if theres even a slight bit of lag online it can drop inputs and sometimes requires having to input throw in advance to break which is totally counter intuitive
i know this from experience i can beat guys with tick throws online (ping of ~60/ 4-5 bar) and offline their throw breaks increases drastically
Then don’t play online if it bothers you to the extent that you’d bitch about it.
You can’t willingly enter an environment you know not to be lag free (any online match) and then call tactics that work in both laggy and offline environments cheesy. Of course teching throws is harder online, so is counter poking, and hit confirming
I’m sure as hell not going to stop throwing turtle chuns, thats for sure.
