Check this out, I tried to plug in and use the Lk, MP, RH method to swap to Xbox360 mode like I do on PC and it worked… hmmmm… I’m ok with a soldering iron…

Wha? That’s odd. Definitely check it out to make sure the directionals work going that route. If so, then you may want to try one of the firmwards in the Chimp Variations .zip linked in the first post of the Cthulhu/Chimp thread. At the least, you could make it be just the guide instead of the three buttons, but if we’re lucky, one of the ones with different timings on the autodetect may keep you from having to press anything at all.

I wouldn’t worry about that for now. If the three button input gets you to 360 and works properly, the problem may lie more in the timing of when the Chimp hands over control to the 360 board. There are hex files with different timings in the Chimp variations file; I expect one with a quicker timing may work better, but I know that using the one for guide=360 will definitely be easier if the autodetect timing doesn’t do it.

Start with Chimp_smallerwindow_nodelay.hex, and see if the autodetection works properly. If not, then try Chimp_HomeFor360 for the easier forcing of Xbox mode.

Well the “Chimp_HomeFor360” worked, holding the home makes the XBOX 360 load. The Ground is daisy chained could that cause an issue?
After a few hours of playing, the connection to the XBOX360 keeps dropping. I’m gonna revert to V12 firmware and see if there is any difference. I know I have force it differnetly but all too often I’d be playing and it’d as to to reconnect controller to where I had to unplug and plug it back in. A bit of a hassle in mid round… =P
