There seems to be 3 ways to go for a tournament:
- use a ton of characters that are 1xp away from leveling up
- win as fast as possible with OHKO/2HKO/Elo banned setups
- use a ton of high powered low star cards to maximize the battle points you gain
WHichever team has the least amount of stars goes second.
I guess if you lvl up 3-4 of your characters it dont matter if you lose or win. Youll still get like 60+ BP? EDIT: but it sais no bonus XP from characters leveling up.

Really? I swear that’s how I managed to not completely fall on my face in my first tournament. Scratch that then, go with Elo banned builds and OHKOs :lol:
As for Elo, I guess you could try to exploit the semi-random factor of the game and challenge everyone 150 Elo above you… a win against someone +150 on you gets you +23, with only -7 for a loss, so as long as you can win 1/4th of the time you’re golden. Good luck finding chumps who will accept your challenge, though if it’s truly 1/4 then it’s still in their favor to play against you…
Once you hit 1300 Elo, it becomes much harder to climb up, you gain less for wins and lose more on a loss, at that point you’re probably better off just playing people near your Elo.

That deck kicked my ass good shit. I went like 4-14 latnight I’m just having the worst time for some reason. I guess all that mindless training for the last few days really fucked my game up. Didn’t help I was hungover lol.

That time was just mainly luck I think. The first two rounds I beat you each time with only a difference of about 5 attack each. If i had pilled 1 or 2 less it would have been a totally diff story.
Im not liking my current vortex cards though… they lack damage. looking to mix it up a lil again…

If it seems SOAs are the flavor of the week, you can make a deck with a few stop cards to combat them. or just put alot of high attack/dmg cards in where abilities and bonuses dont matter much.
or of course run some of your own SOA/SOB cards
