you have no idea, At LFG Tak constantly made fun of how many arcade sticks I had in my trunk(I had 11 in there at one time.)
I have so much bullshit over the years that I dont use, flightsticks, arcade cabs, arcade sticks, 6 video game systems, 600 dvds, and a gigantic collection of arcade parts and accessories. It is not like I make that much money it is just when normal people see a deal, and they dont need it they pass, I see a great deal and i buy it regardless. Case in point a few years ago I toys r us cleared out their dreamcast shit. and where selling VMU’s and controllers for $3. after making many trips I kept buying them cause no one was and I never know when someone might need one. Flash forward to 2008 and I look through my shit and I have 42 of the controllers and VMU’s still sealed. So every once in a while I clear it out and get a bunch of money to buy more shit I am not going to use( an endless cycle)
But at least now I am trying to sell stuff for a major purchase at tv, a new computer, and laptop. and the bad thing is if i sell all the bullshit I am trying to sell now all three will be at no money out of pocket.
and before anyone asks I sold the vmus and controllers.

Phil how is the lag on games?
pretty good, you will notice none in shooters or other non fighting games. in fighting games there is slight lag that is normal for LCDS. Turning on game mode helps with this but the best thing about it is any settings you apply stay for the paticular input. So I watch all my movies on my ps3(input 6) and play fighting games on Xbox360(input 7) so I set my xbox input to minimum settings and my PS3 to maximum to eliminate lag. but in addition to that you can save 3 settings per input. so If I am playing gears on my xbox I can push one button and switch to a different picture setting to improve the visuals.
As far as lag goes though I dont notice any on combos just a slight lag on trying to punish attacks, but most of that is due to online not the tv.

All HD Sets lag over HDMI, Component, Composite, and VGA(to a lesser extent) no matter how slight. I have had several friends over and no one has ever complained about it but all LCDs sets lag. This is why tournaments are played on CRT’s.

generally a good rule of thumb is the better the picture looks the more the set will lag, so if you buy a shit set it will useally not have the things(Comb Filters, Upcorverting) that make games and movie look fantastic but cause some games to lag.
Just did the Rockband Test and with the postprocessing turned off at 720p the Lag is 14ms just under 1 frame so nothing you will ever notice.
