More scrubs than actual Tekken players, I was impressed by the 8 man turnout. One kid had potential, but he didn’t seem to care after he lost. Hopefully he’ll start coming more often. I should’ve gotten a hold of that kid that moved up here from Puerto Rico. At least he knows how to play. I’m gonna try and track him down and tell him to come by PnT, if you guys are still interested in getting better at Tekken. I’m not gonna be satisfied until I can win consistently down at NYC or at Tournaments.
Props to Jim for winning his first major yesterday. And for being a great sport and splitting his winnings with the losers. :wgrin: BTW, Jim, Kenny put you down for 10 wins yesterday, if you got anymore he says to let him know next time you come in.
Alpha 3 on Wednesday definitely and Kenny wants some more ass whoopings in CvS2. Also possibly some 3rd Strike, a game I’m starting to appreciate more after SFIV has come out. At least in 3S you can emply some kind of wakeup game without eating a shoryuken everytime. Why are there overheads in IV if you get almost no oppertunity to use them?
And from now on, all fighting games count as wins toward your record, but only against other league members. This is great, because it encourages others to learn other fighters. I have a ton of wins at Tekken, but I’m terrible at Marvel and SFIV so this gives others an edge at catching up.
Rick should be happy to know he’s not limited to one game where his character is bottom tier. He should make a dent on the board if we start playing Alpha and Super Turbo.
I’ll play tag. Anyways, I wont be coming until next sat at the earliest. Real life > video games.
Sounds awesome on the any fighter to count to your score. So now i can take a break from sf4 which gets boring especially when u guys go off to do the tekken thing lol.
At least i can actually play all the other SF’s decently, except for 3rd strike ill prob get owned in that one. Looking forward for alpha 3 on Wednesday. I just cant wait for Lizard lick to send my my parts. I think im going to make the custom be for PS, i already have the hori and a madcatz se which i plan on modding when parts become available, which will allow me to have a stick for both systems for when we go play older games especially.

You said you have adapters for PS1 controllers to be used on the Saturn? I’m down for any VS game and Alpha 2G. I heard you say something about Darkstalkers last week too. You got Vampire Savior for the Saturn too? I have Darkstalkers 3 for PS1, but it’s not arcade perfect kinda like Alpha 3 on PS1. PS1 just never had enough RAM to run all frames of 2-D games.
After playing SFIV, I think I’ll have more fun playing 3rd Strike. It really is a better game overall.

na no adapters i dont remember saying i had those. Sorry if i did. At least the saturn pad is the best for fighting games anyways lol.
I think the one i have is night warriors which is the second game if im not mistaken. Yea i have alpha2g/ssf2t from the sf collection package. I also have xvsf/mshvsf.
Jus wish i had the saturn alpha 3 which is impossible to get at a reasonable price.
Honestly i dont really care what we play anymore lol(exept tekken) Im pretty sure the majority of us will be very neck in neck in all the 2d fighters and that is all im looking for. Not to mention ggs in Cvsk2 elon because i never really got a chance to play that game with other ppl. As of now you and me are the only 2 which can play that game seriously cuase everyone else sucks lol. I can honestly say your much better at that game lol.
I just watched a few more BR videos… and just isn’t fair that we can’t play that every day yet :crybaby:

Gonna show up early tomorrow. I’m having dinner with friends around 7-7:30 so I won’t be staying til close. Does anyone need to play Tekken tomorrow? If not then I’m not going to bring the PS3 as most of the games I’ll be playing will be for PS2 and we have 2 stations for those.
