every time you begin to pressure someone with lighting (forward) -> blaster, you always end it with the down angle lightning. imo you should use the teleport down as a mix up.
edit: oh nvm you started doing that in a different vid. u should do it more tho, there were some periods where youd be hella repetitive with pressure
Yeah that’s my bnb zoning tool lol. I like keeping my opponent away and try to force them to want to come in because zmcs weakness is runaway turtles so I play a mild mind game by making them feel like I’m giving them an obstacle to come in on. But I see what your saying, Ill try Lightning xxx buster dash down to in random or command dash forward for a cross up.
Any other tips oeuvre notes of things I did right and things I did wrong ? I appreciate the critique because I want to be considered a norcal high level player again :(…

Fellow zero mains, I should have some footage that needs criticizing. Now, I drop a ton of combos. This is because I play on pad, and it was used from gamestop…I bought it the day before. I’ll be switching over to a fight pad to ensure I can LL and finish my combos.

Criticism, from subtle to harsh, is very welcome. I’m here to learn.
The reason why you lost is mostly because it seemed like you didn’t know what to do with the characters in neutral situations or how to approach. You have to be wary off doom missile calls and punish with buster appropriately. Although you already know about combo drops being able to confirm off of every errant hit is crucial to zero play and if you can’t do that and kill, the team becomes less effective. H lightning buster cancels are also more effective vs magneto. In general i think the reason you lost is simply do to a lack of familiarity / block experience vs Dormamu mix ups. It really just comes down to practice. A Strong Dante and Vergil is key when zero dies because the team has less synergy at that point so your choices have to be on point. Stinger Reverb shock cancels can outrun the missiles mid screen if done at the right time to punish those assist calls. Work on movement with all three characters to make it harder for Ruin to pin you down and focus on converting on those random hits.

Anyway, this weekend just past I won what was arguably one of, if not, the biggest major we’ve had in UK/ Europe this year i46 (It’s a massive ass eSports event much like MLG except over here we actually show up to these events and have our games catered for). Decided to run Team Ninja Theory throughout the tourney and not switch to my main just to beat the habit of playing that team for all matchups into me.

Anyway, critique away, my only main problem was Vajra not coming out after Ryuenjin for some odd reason. Rest of the problems lie with my Dante dropping hit-confirms but let’s see what you guys got to say.

I like how he plays zero. I saw him at some money matches/ casuals at evo. I think he challenged me to a mm but instead my friend tinh (mine ) played him.
I’m hoping he comes to ncr cause I’d like to do some zero stuff and maybe a long set. His neutral game amid approach is spaced well.
