Winners match of my pool in UMvC3 at CEO2012. I really shouldn’t have lost to that guy. I just hate how like the reason why I lost was due to bs reasons such as input leniacy I feel like in my opinion.(Still alittle salty lol) But yeah video starts at 38mins. I can’t believe he came back 3 games to me. The 3rd game when I xfactored somehow a bar was wasted which F’ed me up. Also the 2nd to last game when he did a random chaotic flame in my face and i tried to do phoenix inferno it gave me healing field /: I hate when that happens and the chance of that happening is so low that when it happens in an actual tourney and not in casuals or online it’s so disheartening lol.
Jon Slayton vs. Myself. Match starts about a minute in. EMP Remix was talking to us so I was slightly distracted and wanted to restarted. We had been up early because of 10 am pools so execution gets kinda sloppy after 12+ hours. Off Camera, we (Me, Jon and my brother) got to play with Remix and FR Roachking in extended sets.

Man… I blow vs Zero though. Any tips in that matchup? If I ever fight another Zero in tourney I think I’ll just XF guard cancel and kill him…
Yeah we played a lot of games but my cameramen get tired of sitting there with the camera sadly.
Catch the other Zero with BC lightnings was my main strategy.

Somewhat more serious answer is to practice avoiding all of the hitboxes Zero/Team can put out there. If you are blocking you are being set up for mixups.
Avoid chicken blocking out of fear. I’ve been lightning crossed up that way where if I had blocked on the ground he would have whiffed.

learn how to zone. a zero who can zone, be aggressive and defend himself is unstoppable.
