and good shit in your matches! it definitely looked like you had control for most of your matches against aaron. it just sucks when you get hit by haggar in aaron’s set ups and you had a bunch of happy birthdays that you didn’t finish (aaron loves to spam that lariat like its vanilla) honestly when i play him… i completely play lame with a little zoning, which is why i play doom too lol. he definitely plays frustrated when you keep him a full screen length away and you stuff his teleport approaches with a hadenki/buster.
I personally dont agree with Gravimetric pulse for nova as an assist, I rather use Centurion rush for unblockables or cmd dash mixups. I like your use of sougenmu with the incoming characters, i’ll steal that one, its another good reason to use centurion rush, do that you can create even harder to block/disgusting mixups.
Also, when you want to kill, just use Rekkouha DHC Super nova, maybe u were trying to get fancy, but yeah, much more dmg to ensure you’ll kill the opp in case u dont have x-factor. I enjoyed the 3rd match I think, where u killed sent and then the whole team went to hell once they were in the corner, shows how scary Zero is when he corners you.

You need to finish your combos or at least end up in a reset situation man. You got a lot of good airgrabs that you could have confirmed
Also need to use more lightning/Buster to control the screen. Also need to punish those footdives mang. Also better entry mixups. You have the best team for that, you can’t just let them get in and press buttons.
Also you’re not lame enough IMO. Zero doesn’t have to go in against Cap/Doom, he can just lame them the fuck out especially when backed by drones.
Also finally got some footage uploaded. Just some casuals with a local player who generally tops 3 in our locals.
I also played like the first 5mins of the last part but that was kinda sloppy. Overall I feel like I wasn’t playing my best especially defense wise which shows multiple times. But please let me know how i did or anything I should be doing especially against skrull w/ drones/missles. I feel like i should just xfactor skrull to take him out lol.
One tip if you’re getting randomly meteor smashed and crossed up, pay attention to the way your character faces when he goes off screen. You can tell if its going to cross up or not judging by what way your character looks when he goes off screen. I don’t see anything wrong with x factoring meteor smash and killing him if you have to since he’s such a problem for Zero, especially since his team was built for Skrull. Try to finish your combos more, that would have gotten you a few wins here and there. Also maybe less fighting with Phoenix lol. But otherwise, no complaints.

And yeah i dropped some of my combos a few times which shouldn’t have happened lol.
Just watching the first two minutes i can tell you you need to super jump a lot more and use lightning M buster cancel into either the L teleport or the L lightning. That and make more use of j.H. It’s such a good normal and you aren’t using it enough. I can see that you have some trouble against wesker, who is an easy matchup for zero when he’s on point IMO. His normals are all outprioritized by the buster and zero’s own normals, and combined by a good assist like missiles or plasma beam, it’ll make for some good unblockables that will not mean nothing to him.

Hey guys so I played again on O.S. stream. Looking for some Pros/Cons of my gameplay from others so that I can keep on improving as well. Especially w/ tourneys coming up. Let me know what you guys think I’m doing right/wrong need to improve on etc.
Havent watched everything BUT, when Hulk does random gamma crush, just command dash to the other side to stay safe and get a free combo and no chip.

I think you could do better combos with Zero, as in, that build more meter. also when you hit someone in a magic series xx lv3 buster, don’t :h: Dive midscreen, just raikousen or :l: hyenkyaku to continue the combo.
When the opponent is blocking Cold star, you usually do a safe string or just wait there, I saw it a couple of times, there you should be doing left/right/overhead/low mixups. The opp has no option but to sit there and eat your mixup, something as simple as jump :l: hienkyaku or the fuzzy guard set can net you a nice free combo (and 1.5 bars in the process).
In one match you had sentinel in a combo with ammy + 5 bars but u didnt use them (sent was the last char), you should have done a combo into okami shuffle, dhc rekkouha, XF Genmu zero to seal the deal.
^Thanks Diveman. I know about that but I guess since I was pretty much down to my last 2 characters who were basically almost dead i was kinda going for a hailmary lol. That would have worked better doing the command dash so i wouldn’t have gotten punished at all. I just guess i wasn’t thinking about that at the moment lol.
Edit:I thought that when someone is blocking cold star that you can’t go for left and right mixups only high and low because cold star puts them in a true blockstring so they guard left/right mixups automatically regardless of what button is held as long as they correctly block cold star first.
And yeah your right. Idk why i didn’t finish my plate when I had the opportunity. I guess I should have done that.
The last game of the second match made me LOL. Viscant is actually not doing that bad with Zero. He should use that ender with the H Raikousen with Doom Missles instead but what he’s using now is working. I wonder how much time he’s put into Zero so far.
