I had a question about practicing the RSF on PC versus Xbox 360. I know the PC version is not 2012 yet but I only have access to my computer at work, will that effect my ability to learn the RSF? I am just going into training mode and attempting it against E. Honda, I heard some where he was one of the easier characters to do the RSF on.
First off, awesome signature. The timing is very consistent between PS3, PC, and 360, or consistent enough to the point where learning it on one (assuming your PC doesn’t lag uncontrollably). The biggest factor for me is moving to a new TV where I might go from my godawful 6.5ms delay TV to the lagless displays at UFO, but I’m able to get into the rhythm in just one to two applications.
Ok sounds good, my computer at work is pretty beastly so lag won’t be an issue. I want to finally get the hang of this stupid thing. Been playing Elf since vanilla and I never spent much time getting this combo down. I know many people agree it isn’t Elf’s main source of damage but it feels like a badge of honor to me if you can get this combo down.

If you can’t rsf you shouldn’t play elf friend. It’s like playing ryu and not being able to FADC ultra.

In fact, even if it was, damage scaling after 7 hits is not worth the risk of a reversal.

Whats easier to learn RSF or RS C.MK ?
Im trying to learn both and i can get 2 hits with RSF
But i need some help with RS C.MK , i cant connect two or more hits , any advice ?
RSF is easier. there should be some hands videos on YouTube. i believe they are in my fundamentals thread. ill check after i get home from work and post them for you if you can’t find them.
ultimately practice is what you need. you can get more RSF reps than you can for RScrMK
