I’ve been playing around with the idea of a calendar format for a while (on the site), and it just doesn’t make sense given the sheer number of entries for any particular day.
Most sf4 tourneys are held on the weekends, and effectively managing the space for a single cell (when 5 for every 7 are effectively empty, ok, maybe 4 if there are Friday tournaments) is difficult with so many entries.
To that end, would it help if the groupings were day specific instead of month-specific?
Also, the entries on the site are exported in a feed for calendars in a standardized format:
You can filter this (from the main page, enter your location and distance filter) and then copy the link from “Add to calendar”. That link is in the same format (just filtered down to your distance requirements) which you can then embed in pretty much any calendar app (and I am sure there are some JavaScript plugins which will do it as well, or some server side components).
