actually you know if this was 2007 i’d agree with you but looking at it now, not so much. On PSN we now have the birth of trophies, in-game music, in-game text message, we already have a friends list, we can voice chat with friends in-game or out of a game (but unsure about cross-game) Nearly every feature has been matched now. It might not be at full capacity right now but of course as time goes on it will be improved on.
XBL only edges out PSN in that their feature list has been solid and it has a large userbase but would I go to say that its by large margin? No, because PSN is not only catching up, but they are evolving into their own as something of a different beast due to Home. Home is going to work with these recently released features on a different level than Live but enough about that though as its not out yet.

I also think the last time we truly had a good d-pad on a controller was Saturn. Everything else from that point on was inferior…it’s like the manufacturers don’t even care about the d-pad quality anymore. Unfortunately, that makes sense since the focus is on analog sticks now…the classic directional pad has been relegated to secondary functions(*like cycling thru weapons/spells or a quick-cast of something, etc.) these days.
From what I’ve seen so far…Dante would destroy the shit out of Ryu Hayabusa if there were ever a crossover battle. I’m not exactly sure which character is more beloved, just throwing something out there.
^ah, finally. I feel sorry for anyone that misses out on custom soundtracks. That has been my favorite new option in games since its inception back on playstation in '95. Custom soundtracks should’ve been a standard and expected option ever since that point. It’s strange to me how so few people seem to care about that.

Yeah, I am on the fence about the whole graphics/art direction. What kills me more is how uninspired the new characters look (minus Abel, he looks awesome).

LOL, it isn’t about system wars. I have no allegiance to Sony or the Playstation Brand. I bought an X360 before I bought a PS3. It’s simply a matter of fact.
With previous generations and with Wii vs X360/PS3, it’s always arguable because it boils down to preference. Not so much with X360 vs PS3; they have so much in common that you can just cancel out everything that both systems have, and compare what’s left. The quantity of notable exclusives on each system can be counted on one hand. As for multi-platform games, even magazines and video game websites who are paid to find the differences struggle to do so.
In the end, it boils down to: top-of-the-line Blu-Ray player versus a really loud fan.

Yeah I got better things to hate on than a videogame system, I just felt that playstation 3’s library wasn’t blowing 360’s shit out like I felt ppl were making it sound. But the last couple of pages were a lot less serious than it looked.
