Infinite Undiscovery, Ketsui, Dodonpachi Daioujou Black Label, SF2:HD (maybe), Bionic Commando (game looks sick). All games to get hold ya nuts hype about son!
Fixed.
360 has just as many if not more good exclusives that are not on pc as ps3 does I donât know what youâre talking about.
As a pc gamer it confuses me when other pc gamers say console fps suck because I play some fps games like cod4 much better on 360 pad then on mouse n kb while I play UT3 much better on mouse n kb then either ps3 or 360. I go by a game by game basis.
Like I said I like my 360, ps3, wii, and pc. They all have their pros n cons and get equal play time (actually not true I play brawl and STHD beta with my fellow srkâers more then anything else currently) but I just happen to like 360 more then the rest because IMO they have more âgood gamesâ then the others.
With E3 coming up anything can happen though:looney:
dreamcast for life.
360 and PS3 yes, but I dont like keeping up with graphics cards and system requirements for pc.
Funny how you ask someone to compose a list but ask them to EXCLUDE the PS3âs defining title. Itâs like saying âApple doesnât make good MP3 players. Aside from the iPod, what has Apple given us?!â
Youâre right, none of the games on the non-MGS4 list blow 360 exclusives out of the water, but none of the 360 exclusives blow PS3 exclusives out of the water either. The point is, neither PS3 or X360 has a considerable edge in exclusive games. They have a bunch of good games that are on both consoles like CoD4, GTA4, Rock Band, GH3, Burnout, DMC4, etc⌠After that, they each have only a few notable games that the other console doesnât have.
-PS3 has Uncharted, R&C, MGS4, Warhawk.
-X360 has Mass Effect, Bioshock, Gears of War, Halo 3 and Lost Odyssey. (The first three also being on PC.)
In terms of video-games, neither console blows the other out of the water and itâll probably be that way for a long ass time. For someone to say shit like âThe XBox 360 is the only next-gen system that isnât garbage.â implies that the X360 is leaps and bounds above the PS3. This is just talking strictly video game titles, and Iâm not counting things like lossless audio in games, 50GB discs, and not being held back by its mentally retarded little brother (aka the X360 without a HDD).
Consider this, though. There is no huge reason why a PS3 owner would want to get an X360, since 80% of the good games are on both systems anyway. An X360 might still want the PS3 for being the best god damn Blu-Ray player on the market.
I dont wanna add on to this anymore since its going nowhere but I was excluding MGS4 because I already know thats a game worth playing.
Do you read before you post?
Judging by the mot recent posts in this thread it looks like people are actually accepting that the next gen consoles actually have good games and not this insert system for life mentality
âŚNever mind.
Iâm not even going to touch on the games subject Iâve done that already so Iâll leave it at 360 has quite a few good games ps3 doesnât.
AS far as a ps3 owner not wanting a 360 because of the common good game libraryâŚummm online service and XBLA shit on ps3 online and PS store. (This is coming from someone who owns n plays both roughly equally.)
Fear Effect needs a next gen console release already.
:woooooo:
Yeah X360 has things that the PS3 doesnât, but there are no âhuge reasonsâ. Like $400 huge. Blu-Ray playback that rivals the most expensive BD players on the market is a âhuge reasonâ. As for online service and XBLA, people who will shell out $450+ for it are few and far between. There are a few people (such as yourself) will get good value out of owning both systems, but I think itâs pretty safe to say that there are more X360 owners who want a BD player enough to pay $400 for one than there are PS3 owners who want XBL enough to pay $450.
If I didnât have a PS3, Iâd take a X360 over a Wii anyday, but as a PS3 owner, even the Wii has more compelling reasons for me to purchase one than an X360.
The only one of those that remotely interest me is Bionic Commando. And definitely not enough to buy another 360.
What 360 exclusive (non-arcade) does not come out on either the PS3 or the PC? Because, as much as it sounds like I hate 360, Iâd love a legit reason to buy it again. I wonât bother with the whole control vs PC stuff, because thatâs irrelevant.
Regarding E3, it doesnât even feel like it exist anymore :shake: I use to anticipate E3 week every year. But now itâs just like âmehâŚwhen is it again?â.
YesâŚyes it does.
Mega Man X5 and X6 were alright. I mean seriously, what is it about the games that makes everyone scream at how shitty it was? They were just another bunch of X games, nothing special, but they werenât garbage. Were people spoiled by X4 or what?
I just made an E3 thread with a link and if there arenât at least 5 games on the link ur hyped about then you have no penis.
People are just saying shit about random games just to say shit now.
And about 360 vs PS3
From orochiâs link.
None of those 360 exclusives are worth buying a 360 for and the good games are coming out on PC anyway.
Though if Alan Wake is a game much in the same vein as Max Payne Iâd definitely check it out⌠when it comes out on PC.
There are others iâm just not in the mood to make a list right now though I might as well sometime later lol.
Itâs not jsut about exclusives because of the 360âs excellent online service, features, and install base not to mention how I love the 360 pad 90% of the time I buy multi platform games on 360.
XBLA is so awesome, it doesnât even have built-in wifi. Even the motherfucking DS has wifi. Even the Wii has wifi. 360 is the only console where you have to pay an extra $100 for that shit.
So letâs add it up and see how much a âPS3-equivalentâ 360 would actually cost.
360 Elite - $450
Wifi adapter - $100
Xbox LIVE Gold - $50
HD DVD add-on - $50
Total: $650 for an inferior console with a 30% fail rate and a dead high-def movie player.
360 is trash.
Iâm of the firm opinion that Xbox live is grossly overrated.
And a 360 controllerâs shape/analog sticks+ Playstation buttons and Dpad=Perfect controller.
You should stop mentioning fighting games in your post since you have no clue most of the time.
Tekken 4 = Trash. It wasnât fun. Just pick Jin.
Prince of Persia = The first one is very good. Extremely good. If anything, Uncharted takes a lot from that game, as well. The rest of the PoP games suck.
It gets worseâŚ
Xbox LIVE Gold - $50 per 12 months. If itâs supposed to have a lifespan of six years, thatâs $300.
Quick charge kit - $30 + $15 for each additional controllerâŚand people actually complain that the DS3 retails for $5 more than the X360 controller. Get real.
The worst part about it is, People actually have the nerve to turn it around and say shit like âunlike Playstation 3, X-Box 360 gives you the OPTION to decide whether you want a Hard Drive, Wifi, XBL, HD DVD, or a battery pack & charger.â Fanboys gobble all of this shit up and say shit like âSony doesnât care if you need these features or not, they force it down your throatâ.
Gee, I just feel SO violated because Sony forced me not to purchase dozens of AAA batteries for my controller. My life is so much harder now that Sony made me pay an extra $0 for wifi capability, because when I much rather put holes in my walls and run my ethernet cable through two rooms. When I bought the X360 solely for its superior online service, Microsoft was so kind and generous for allowing me the option to decline the online service and not have to pay $50 for it. I ponied up $50 for it anyway, but itâs the thought that counts. Microsoft is the new UNICEF.:rolleyes:
I thought X5 was the worst game in the series. I felt X6 improved on it by so much, by making so that thereâs a purpose to saving reploids and that rank matters. Not to mention that the bosses were a lot cooler and didnât have retarded ass names and the game was actually hard. Also, the Shadow Armor was actually freaking good, unlike the shitty Gaea armor. X6 >> X4 > X1,X3 >> X2 >>>>>> X5.
