Why? Is it because there’s nothing in the middle? Once you get over that, it’s amazing.
I’m sure there will be alternatives through USB pads just like this gen, though. I want a USB Saturn pad for my PS3/PC because of the 6 face buttons and better D-pad(though I’d most likely have to get used to it again.)

I think that is precisely why. I had my PS2 for a long time before I went with the 360. I got used to it, but it never felt natural.

Wow. Now that is an unpopular opinion. I’ve seen from many people that said how FM was both solid and balanced. I’ve never seen any review that was negative about FM. I’ve, unfortunately, never got the chance to play it (born in '95. Fuck my life) but it looks fun as hell in the videos I’ve watched.

I liked it and all…emphasis on “very.” It’s not as good as FV or VF, though. The novelty of playing as either roster and other Sega characters made for an enjoyable experience overall, though.

Saturn pads sucked. They felt so fucking cheap with that shitty ass plastic.
Dual Shock 3 was the best thing to happen to console controllers.
I LOVE SFxT and I fucking LOATH SF IV.
Fuck FPS games except Duke Nukem 3D, Timesplitters 2, Goldeneye, and Perfect Dark. Metroid Prime and Deus Ex don’t count so I like them too.
DMC 3 and 4 had some of the WORST bosses and platforming elements in the history of games.

I own Fighters Megamix, it’s as people say, the game was riddled with glitches but was fun for the novelty sake…playing characters from Virtua Cop vs Hornet never got old…and then my brother brought home Virtual-ON.
Sigh Sega…get yo shit together…
Gamecube controller was the best for Soul Calibur II.

The pads are so stiff i think is the problem. Most games use the analog stick for movement, but if I was playing a fighting game on PS2, my hand would cramp up after awhile just because the PS pads are always so damn stiff.
